Hello, I'm "The Rookie."

WWE has many matches which some can be what you call "overrated" and some can be "underrated"...

Today, I've brought this article to your attention, because I'd like to share great matches that don't get appreciated as much as others, yet they were just as good or maybe even better...

So uh...

Well...

Without further ado...

Let's get started...

Randy Orton vs. Edge, Vengeance 2004

SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA - JUNE 15: World Heavyweight Champion Edge looks on during WWE Smackdown at Acer Arena on June 15, 2008 in Sydney, Australia. (Photo by Gaye Gerard/Getty Images)

This match was for the Intercontinental Championship, and may I say, it was the best match of the night, and one of the best in that year.

Both Orton and Edge fought their hearts out in this match, and it's a personal favorite of mine...

Edge won...

Brock Lesnar vs. Kurt Angle, Smackdown 2003

ORANGE, CA - MAY 08: Wrestler Kurt Angle arrives at the Lions Gate Premiere of 'See No Evil' at the Century Stadium Promenade 25 on May 8, 2006 in Orange, California. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

This match was a 60 minute Iron Man match for the WWE Championship, and may I say, it was another favorite match of mine.

When this match came to an end, it was Lesnar who was emerged as the winner and more importantly, WWE Champion...

John Cena vs. Randy Orton, Summerslam 2007

ORANGE, CA - MAY 08: Wrestler John Cena arrives at the Lions Gate Premiere of 'See No Evil' at the Century Stadium Promenade 25 on May 8, 2006 in Orange, California. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

This was a great match, but the only problem was the ending, with Cena somehow giving Orton an "FU" or "AA" for the victory.

Still, the match had a great atmosphere, as it was in Jersey, and the crowd was booing Cena out the building...

You may remember this match for the sign, where it said, "If Cena wins, We Riot"...

This was a great match though, despite the ending...

Triple H vs. The Rock, Judgment Day 2000

NEW YORK - MARCH 11: Wrestler Triple H attends a press conference to promote Wrestlemania XX at Planet Hollywood March 11, 2004 in New York City. (Photo by Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Another great match between two of the best in the business at their times, Triple H and The Rock...

This match was a 60-minute Iron Man match for the WWF Championship...

It was just a spectacular match, it had it's highspots, and a great finish, the return of The Undertaker...

Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle, No Way Out 2006

Kurt Angle and Undertaker have always had a great rivalry, but this match really brought that rivalry out...

This technical match with plenty of highspots was won by Angle in a bit of a twist...

Overall, it is one of the most overlooked matches in years...

John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels, RAW 2007

ORANGE, CA - MAY 08: Wrestler Shawn Michaels arrives at the Lions Gate Premiere of 'See No Evil' at the Century Stadium Promenade 25 on May 8, 2006 in Orange, California. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

What a match this was, even better then their Mania match, which was phenomenal...

This match was nearly an hour long, and it was one of the best matches of that year...

Shawn won the match via "Sweet Chin Music"...

Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho, Wrestlemania XIX

LAS VEGAS - DECEMBER 2: (U.S. TABLOIDS OUT) WWE wrestler Chris Jericho walks on stage during the '1st Annual Video Game Awards' at the MGM Grand Garden Arena December 2, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show premieres on Spike T.V. Thursday, December 4

This match is another personal favorite, and in my opinion, one of the best Wrestlemania matches of all time, but most don't even remember it...

This match was between two of the greatest wrestlers in the business at the time, Jericho and Michaels.

This match was won by Shawn, but afterwards, Jericho gave him a low-blow...

Edge vs. John Cena, Unforgiven 2006

BURBANK, CA - NOVEMBER 30: Pro-wrestler John Cena arrives at the Inagural 'Arby's Action Sports Awards' held at Center Staging on November 30, 2006 in Burbank, California. (Photo by Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images)

This match was a classic, one of the best I've seen in years. This was the final chapter between Edge and Cena in that year...

This match had it all, the atmosphere of thousands of Canadian fans booing Cena and cheering for their hometown hero, Edge.

Cena won the match by giving Edge his finishing move entitled, the "FU" or "AA" through a stack of tables and grabbing the WWE title for the win...

Batista vs. Triple H, Wrestlemania 21

NEW YORK - MARCH 11: Wrestler Triple H attends a press conference to promote Wrestlemania XX at Planet Hollywood March 11, 2004 in New York City. (Photo by Peter Kramer/Getty Images)

Wrestlemania 21 was the "Breakout" type of Mania, with Edge winning Money in the Bank, Cena winning the WWE title, but most importantly, Batista winning the World title in the match of the night, and one of the best of that year...

Triple H and Batista's feud was one of my favorites of this decade, and so was their matches that they had against each other...

Hulk Hogan vs. Mr. McMahon, Wrestlemania XIX

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA - APRIL 2: Wrestler Hulk Hogan, Sylvester Stallone and Vince Mcmanon attend Sylvester Stallone's Induction of Hulk Hogan into WWE Hall of Fame at Universal Amphitheatre on April 2, 2005 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Frazer Ha

Yeah, that's Rocky, but the men next to him performed in a great match, Hogan and McMahon, if you don't remember the match, it was a street fight, and boy was it brutal...

Eventually, the match was won by Hogan...

Kurt Angle vs. Shawn Michaels, Wrestlemania 21

NEW YORK - MARCH 6: WWE wrestler Kurt Angle attends the 6th Annual T.J. Martell 'Family' Day' Indoor Carnival Benefit at Cipriani's Fifth Avenue March 6, 2005 in New York City. (Photo by Evan Agostini/Getty Images)

What can I say, these two are the best performers in the business.

Shawn Michaels and Kurt Angle are usually in classics, but no one talks about this one, it's one I recommend you to watch...

This match was won by Angle...

Edge vs. Christian, No Mercy 2001

DALLAS - JANUARY 23: WWE wrestler 'Edge' watches the 2007 NHL Youngstars Game at the American Airlines Center on January 23, 2007 in Dallas, Texas. (Photo by Jim McIsaac/Getty Images)

A match between two real-life best friends, and storyline brothers, Edge and Christian were considered one of the best tag teams of all time, but when Christian turned on Edge, they had a ladder match, and Edge won, which was great...

These are matches that make you say, "Edge may be the best superstar in WWE history"...

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, Armageddon 2002

ORANGE, CA - MAY 08: Wrestler Triple H arrives at the Lions Gate Premiere of 'See No Evil' at the Century Stadium Promenade 25 on May 8, 2006 in Orange, California. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

It was a "Three Stages of Hell" match between Shawn Michaels and Triple H for the World title.

It had some high points and really a brutal match, unlike the most recent "Three Stages of Hell" match between Orton and Triple H.

Triple H won the match...

Randy Orton vs. Chris Benoit, Summerslam 2004

NEW YORK - MARCH 11: (FILE) Wrestler Chris Benoit attends a press conference to promote Wrestlemania XX at Planet Hollywood March 11, 2004 in New York City. Benoit, his wife Nancy and their son Daniel, 7-years-old, were found dead June 25, 2007 at their

A great PPV that was Summerslam 2004, had a great ending with this matchup between Benoit and Orton.

In this match, Orton was the underdog, as Benoit was on a tear, defeating Triple H, Kane and Shawn Michaels multiple times to retain the World title.

So no one expected Orton to win, but he did, and it was one of the most unpredictable moments in WWE history...

Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels, No Mercy 2008

LOS ANGELES, CA - JULY 11: Wrestler Chris Jericho arrives at the Celebrity Lock Room presents 'An All Star Night at the Mansion' at the Playboy Mansion on July 11, 2006 in Los Angeles, California. (Photo by Michael Buckner/Getty Images)

These two have put on so many classics, so it wasn't a surprise that they would bring out another classic against one another...

Chris Jericho feuded with Shawn Michaels from Judgment Day of last year up until No Mercy.

This ladder match was truly one of my favorites, it had many highspots, especially the ending, with Jericho retaining the World title...

Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero, Summerslam 2005

SAN DIEGO - JULY 12: New cruiserweight champion Rey Mysterio Jr acknowledges the crowd after defeating Jericho during the WWE Bash at the Beach event at Cox Arena in San Diego, California on July 12, 1998. (Photo by Elsa /Getty Images)

This match was for the custody of Dominick, Rey's son and Eddie's kayfabe son.

This was a great ladder match between Hispanics who revolutionized a business, Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero...

Rey won this match, though...

Triple H vs. Ric Flair, Survivor Series 2005

A match between a 16 time World Champion in Ric Flair, and an 13 time World Champion, Triple H. This was a "Last Man Standing" match, and a hell of one at that.

Triple H won and Flair took a lot of punishment in this match, overall a classic...

Team Smackdown vs. Team RAW, Survivor Series 2005

NEW YORK - MARCH 9: WWE wrestlers (L-R) Triple H, Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista sit courtside at the New York Knicks v Boston Celtics NBA game March 9, 2004 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. (Photo by Ray Amati/Getty Images)

In this picture, we have two of the main participants of that year's Survivor Series match, Randy Orton and Batista.

This may have been the last great tag team match that I've seen in WWE...

Team Smackdown came as the underdog, for some unknown reason, but they won the match, thanks to Orton pinning Michaels.

After the match, Undertaker returned...

Edge vs. Ric Flair, RAW 2006

GARDEN CITY, NY - MARCH 3: World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) professional wrestler Ric Flair speaks on a panel during the 'Professor For A Day' event at Nassau Community College March 3, 2003 in Garden City, New York. Flair acted as an assistant profes

Edge and Flair are two of the most successful superstars of their respective eras.

In this match, Edge was the new WWE Champion, winning it from John Cena.

This was a very exciting Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match with a lot of highspots.

The winner of this match and still WWE Champion, Edge!

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels, Bad Blood 2004

NEW YORK - MARCH 26: WWE wrestlers Shawn Michaels and Triple H attend the USA Network Upfront at The Modern on March 26, 2008 in New York City. (Photo by Andrew Walker/Getty Images)

Yeah, in this picture they're best friends, but before that, they were sworn enemies.

They competed in one of the most brutal "Hell in a Cell" matches of all time.

Once again, Triple H won...

The Closing

MADRID, SPAIN - JUNE 30: New signing Kaka waves to fans during his official presentation as a Real Madrid player at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on June 30, 2009 in Madrid, Spain. (Photo by Denis Doyle/Getty Images)

These matches deserve a moment in the spotlight, much like this fella in the picture...

Most of these are my favorite matches to tell the truth...
