Reign of Terror: WWE Raw Rewind
As the show opens, Vince McMahon appears to discuss the actions of King Regal. But just when it looked like Regal could be cut loose, McMahon not only condones the actions, he praises the actions as "innovative and genius."
With that being said, Regal comes out to boast his actions even more and threatens that he will do the entire broadcast in darkness if the fans do not start showing respect.
That's when the man who started it all, Mr. Kennedy arrived to continue demanding one more King of the Ring Match between he and Regal. Regal not only declined, but also placed Kennedy in the main event against the entire ECW roster. Yes, the entire ECW roster.

But before Regal could strut off into the sunset with his head held high, the WWE Champion Triple H came out.
But he only had one thing to say to the "most powerful entity of the WWE": "You don't want to go to war with me!" Regal cowered his way out of it by putting The Game in the main event with Kennedy against the ECW Roster.
And now, let's get to some action.
Mickie James defeats Beth Phoenix to retain Women's Championship
As the show resumes from commercial, the Divas begin to surround the ring for the Lumberjill match for the WWE Women's Championship. At the start of the bell, Beth Phoenix uses her strength to overpower the current champion.
As James is thrown out of the ring, the Phoenix supporters bumrush James outside in an attempt to give the Glamazon the edge.
After a quick commercial, James is in an awkward submission. She tries to reverse the hold, but gets overpowered again. Phoenix's capitalization is short-lived however as she receives a kick that sends her outside to the awaiting boots and fists of supporters of Mickie James.
As the official tries to regain control, Melina sneaks in to try to nail James from behind. The champion ducks and Melina nails Phoenix instead. Mickie rolls up a dazed Phoenix for the pin and the win.Ā
The show goes to the back as Regal confronts Chris Jericho and informs him that he will be tagging with the "injured" Shawn Michaels to take on the WWE Tag Team Champions John Morrison and The Miz.
The show returns from commercial with Trevor Murdoch attempting to serenade the lovely Trish Stratus. When asked how he did, Stratus turned to newest inductee into the College Football Hall of Famer, former Seminoles Nose Guard, Ron Simmons, to respond.
He responded with one word: DAMN!Ā
Josh Grisham interviews Randy Orton about his match for tonight against Punk and his match against Triple H at Judgment Day. Orton replies, "In two weeks, 'The Age of Orton' resumes."Ā
Paul Burchill & Katie Lea defeat John Cutler
As the show resumes, Burchill and Lea arrive into the ring. However, King Regal decided to exhort more authority by not only removing Jim Ross from the commentator table, but also including Mike Adamle in his place.
The match was mediocre at best, but it wasnāt as bad as Adamleās play by play. His commentary on RAW was as sad, ridiculous and cheesy as his tenure on American Gladiators. The match ends with Burchill using the British Stomp on Cutler to end the match.
After the match, Jericho confronts HBK about Backlash once more. Michaels guarantees that heāll do his best. The show then returns to ringside as JR returns to his post and the arrival of The Dirt Sheet (Miz and Morrison). After Jerichoās entrance, Michaels arrives limping and nursing his āinjuredā knee.
Y2J & HBK defeat The Miz and John Morrison
Jericho shows early dominance during the match, but as he ducks an ambush from The Miz, Morrison bounces off the ropes and kicks Jericho in the head. Miz continues the onslaught on his side of the ring, and as Morrison comes in to block the Walls of Jericho, he nails Jericho, who hadnāt been legally in the match yet.
As Morrison prepares for his swinging neck-breaker, he meets up with Sweet Chin Music from HBK. Jericho follows up with the Lionsault to pick up the win.
As Michaels limps out of the arena, Jericho notices the replay and starts to wonder if HBK is really feigning his injury.
Randy Orton and CM Punk fight to a Regal Draw
The show returns from commercial with the entrance of Randy Orton for his match with CM Punk. The match starts off as a stalemate until Orton capitalizes on a mistake from Punk and yanks him off the apron to the floor. Punk recovers long enough to hit his turnbuckle knee and bulldog.
Right before the conclusion of the match, King Regal intervenes, and because of the ādisrespect that the fans continue to show,ā he shuts off the lights and ends the match with no result.
As the show resumes, Grisham tries to get Ortonās thoughts on the outcome of his match, but Orton is no longer in the mood to talk. As he makes his way to the office, the show returns to ringside where Carlito prepares for his Cabana segment with special guest āRowdyā Roddy Piper.
Carlito confronts Piper about his actions last week when snapped Carlitoās partner Santino, the owner of the āWorldās Smallest Italian Sausage.ā Piper responds with āI do everything my way.ā
Just as blows look to be imminent, Santino makes his way down in an attempt to insult Piper. But as usual, Piper doesnāt miss a beat.
As āCantinoā began their approach towards the WWE legend, Cody Rhodes appears from the back to give a warning to the No. 1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championships. But he also brings down fellow tag team Cryme Tyme to not only stave off the assault, but to pay homage to the legendary Hot Rod.
As RAW resumes, JR and The King announced the second match added to the Judgment Day card as JBL will challenge the Doctor of Thuganomics, John Cena. Layfield then attempts to boost his ego by trying to talk smack to the absent Cena en route to his match against DH Smith.
JBL defeats DH Smith
Layfield continues his tirade as he walks towards the ring to face Smith. After insulting the city of Toronto and degrades the entire Hart Family, he then demands the referee to ring the bell. As the bell rings, Layfield pummels Smith.
After a series of elbows, JBL nails Smith with the Clothesline From Hell. Following the pin, Layfield continues the assault until more officials arrive to remove him from the ring. If he was trying to send a message, Cena may have heard it loud and clear.
The cameras then return to the back with Regal meeting up and attempting to motivate the ECW Roster. He then claims that, āI expect a victory, and anything short of that would be a failure.ā However, his problems are more than just tonight. Itās in the form of the enemies he is making during his reign as ruler of the WWE.
JR and King then start to discuss the actions of another controversial GM: Smack Down! General Manager Vickie Guerrero. This led to the SmackDown! Rebound and the actions that occurred this past Friday night.
The show then resumes live coverage with the arrival of the ECW Superstars and ECW Champion Kane.
ECW defeats Triple H and Mr. Kennedy
As the match unfolds, the unlikely tag teams try to work together en route to victory. Kennedy handles most of the heavy work in the beginning as he tries to fight off Mike Knox, Matt Stryker, Kofi Kingston, and Tommy Dreamer.
But the match changed hands if only for a moment when Kingston mistimed a dive and nailed his partner for the evening, Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin then retaliates by sending his partner out of the ring and continuing the assault on Kennedy.
He then tags in Nunzio who keeps Kennedy from tagging in Triple H. Unfortunately for him, The Game had enough of sitting on the sidelines and nailed Nunzio with a straight right hand.
The Game attempts a Pedigree but is cut short by Benjamin who gets Mic Checkād by Kennedy. But Kennedy only survives long enough to get chokeslammed by the ECW Champion and frog splashed by possible No. 1 Contender, Chavo Guerrero. ECW got the win, but then decided to finish the job on their opponentsā¦and each other.
Knox attempted to nail Triple H with a steel chair, but the Game retaliated and started to play Home Run Derby on anyone who approached him. But then the lights went outā¦again.
When the lights came back in, Orton was in the ring and delivered a devastating RKO to an unsuspecting Triple H. As the show went off the air, Orton was left standing over a down and out WWE Champion.
