Bear with me—this is my first article, and I'm not really a writer. The reason I'm writing this is to halt any worries Arsenal fans might have about the upcoming season.

We as fans are getting visibly frustrated with the lack of trophies won by the club. This is totally understandable. We want to win and I'm sure the club is happy about this, because if we are so interested in the club winning. Then we must be buying the shirts and anything else with the logo on it.

The reason I'm so optimistic about the team is the talent and because of Wenger. If you recall the year before last we were in first place most of the year until injuries set in. Now I know people will say if we were deeper that wouldn't have mattered.

Then this year we get really hot once we get Arshavin. But he couldn't help us in the Champions League.

The reason I am so optimistic is because our young players are getting older and more mature. Cesc plays alot with Spain and us. Ramsey is playing a big role for Wales at just 18.

Theo is playing for like five England teams. It might actually be just two, but its still funny how many teams he plays for. Does he ever rest?

Robin Van Persie is playing beautiful football for Holland and Arshavin is now Russia's captian. This is not even half our squad, or all the players on international duty.

Now we just brought in Thomas Vermaelen from Ajax and that adds depth. If the team stays intact, you're looking at a defense of Gael Clichy, William Gallas, Johan Djourou, Vermaelen, Bacary Sagna, Kolo Toure, and Armand Traore. Forget Mikael Silvestre and Phillippe Senderos. When our defense was healthy we were on a undefeated run. Remember no Clichy or Gallas in the champs league?

Now if we can add that holding midfielder, someone like Lorik Cana, or Felipe Melo(who signed a extension), or Miguel Veloso, we will be golden. Our midfield will be solid.

Imagine a midfield of Fabregas and Cana, with Denilson and Song as the other holding midfielders, along with Ramsey and Denilson playing second fiddle to Cesc. Denilson can play both spots and if an injury occurs, while Nasri can play MF also. Our team stacks up like this if we get a good holding fielder.

Sagna - Gallas (or Vermaelen) - Toure - Clichy

Arshavin - New signing- Cesc- Samir Nasri

                                  RVP   Adebayor

Subs: Ramsey, Vela, Walcott, Bendtner, Eduardo, Vermaelen, Traore, Denilson, Eboue, Diaby, Wilshere (if he is not loaned out), Djourou.

I believe right now we are a better team then Liverpool and Manchester United. The only team I worry about is Chelsea. But I think Ancelloti and his stubborness will hurt them. Just ask AC Milan.
