I don't know why I just had this sudden image come across my mind. Actually, it was this past Monday when I watched Jericho and Edge give their first promo as Tag Team Champions. Something connected inside of me that made me really believe WWE really is the state of the art when it comes to professional wrestling. Edge and Chris Jericho have the enormous potential to be the most powerful duo in WWE history.

I think the fact that the tag team champions are able to fight on any show because of the fact that they can create rivalries from different shows. They can also bring a different element into different shows. More importantly, two guys like Edge and Jericho will bring prestige back to the tag team titles.

My favorite thing about Jericho and Edge being the tag team champions is the fact that if the WWE were to make this angle work both can not only be the tag team champs, but also the World Champions.

Think about Edge beating Punk for the title and Jericho defeating Orton for the title. That probably won't even happen, but the thought of it would really bring some true flavor back into the WWE. That will also solidify these two Canadians as bigger legends than they already are.

All I'm saying is that we have the two biggest heels in the business as the Tag Team Champions. With an opportunity like this, you should always seize a moment because you never know if these two will be as hot as they are now. They are the present and still future of the WWE.

Let the Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho and Edge get a chance to at least battle for the World Heavyweight Titles. That's good enough for me. I'm out.
