The thing I love about going to Washington is that while the rivalries are serious, there's always a bit of fun to be had between us and Washington State fans. Contrast that with the rivalry with Oregon that oscillates between hatred and pure frustration.

Well, recently, fans of each school here in Washington have been using twitter to throw some jabs between each other.

As most of you know coach Steve Sarkisian and coach Paul Wulff both have twitter pages they use to help market their programs.

Now, some fun fans have created fakecoachsark and fakecoachwulff twitter pages to help drag the other program through the mud. Unfortunately the fake coach Wulff one has shut down.

There were some classic gems on the fake Wulff one like: "The Huskies have more recruits than I can count to," and the like.

Fake coach Sark claims that he can shepherd recruits through their first practices games and DUI's.

I know as a sports journalist that you are supposed to stay in the middle of things, but it's hard not to get a chuckle out of these kind of antics.

For fans in Washington, these days, there isn't too much for them to look forward to but the Apple Cup, so it's not surprising these sorts of things start to multiply.

And hey, this is why we love sports. Without rivalry we wouldn't care at all.
