Rafael Furcal went 5 for 6 with 3 Runs, a Double, and a Stolen Base. Geovany Soto hit 2 HRs and drove in 6 Runs. Tadahito Iguchi went 4 for 5 with a Run and an RBI. Placido Polanco hit a pair of solo HRs. Brian Anderson, Carlos Gomez, Nate McLouth (3 RBI), Xavier Nady (3 RBI), Ryan Freel, Rick Ankiel, Brad Ausmus, Matt Kemp (3 RBIs), Geoff Jenkins, Miguel Montero, and Casey Kotchman (3 RBI) each had three hits. Blake DeWitt drove in 4 Runs. Freddy Sanchez, Wladimir Balentien, James Loney, Ryan Braun, Ronny Cedeno, David DeJesus, Aramis Ramirez, Franklin Gutierrez, and Carlos Lee each drove in 3 Runs. Pitcher Micah Owings hit a pinch-hit HR. Josh Hamilton hit a Grand Slam.

Tom Gorzelanny pitched 5 scoreless Innings for his second Win. Braden Looper allowed 2 Runs in 6 Innings for his 4th Win of the year. Jair Jurrjens (7 Innings, 2 Hits, 1 Run) and Shawn Hill (8 Innings, 4 Hits, 1 Run) got locked up in a pitchers’ duel, but each took no-decisions. Andy Sonnanstine allowed 1 Run in 8 Innings with 5 Ks to improve to 4-1. Jeremy Bonderman pitched 7-2/3 Innings allowing 2 Runs for his second Win. Chris Young allowed 2 Runs with 6 Ks in 6 Innings to improve to 2-2. Chad Billingsley allowed 1 Run on 3 Hits in 7 Innings with 8 Ks to pick up his first Win of the year. Ervin Santana allowed on unearned run in 6-2/3 Innings to improve to 5-0 with a 2.47 ERA.
