2003 PED List Released?

Paul BourdettJun 30, 2009

Rotoinfo.com today released an UNCONFIRMED—let's say that one more time for clarity—UNCONFIRMED list of the 104 MLBers who tested positive for PEDs back in 2003.  Yes, A-Rod is still the headliner of the cheats and no, Albert Pujols’s name is nowhere to be found.  But there are a few other names of interest on the UNCONFIRMED list that are sure to make you sigh in disbelief:

·    Antonio Alfonseca: The side-effects of anabolic steroid use are pretty well-known, and often read like a bad Cialis commercial:  acne, roid-rage, male-pattern baldness, bitch tits, testicular atrophy…  Thanks to Alfonseca, we’ve uncovered the one side effect you never heard about.

·    Jose Lima: We’ve been wondering for years what would possess a man to do this to himself.  Now, we have our answer.  Perhaps he thought it was a cure for herpes?

·    Dan Smith: Apparently, when your birth certificate says Dan Smith, you need to do something to make a name for yourself.

·         Valerio De Los Santos: Roid rage is for real folks (scroll to the 2:34 mark).
