Emmanuel Eboue has had a roller coaster experience at Arsenal. Feeling the highs of starting a Champions League Final in 2006, and less than 3 years later being roundly booed by his own fans.

In the summer of 2006 Eboue was selected as the right back in the UEFA Champions League team of the season. Some thought he would step up and develop into one of the best fullbacks in the world.

Arsene Wenger didn't share the same rationale, opting instead to purchase Bacary Sagna, and select him ahead of the Ivorian international. Sagna proved to be an excellent acquisition, and he soon made the position his own in Arsenal's starting eleven.

Eboue was then pushed up into midfield, taking a position on the right. Though he didn't seem comfortable initially, he still had some success.

In December 2008, during a home game against Wigan, Eboue got booed by his own home fans after committing a few poor errors. He then followed up with a horrific performance in the North London derby against Spurs, getting sent off in the first half for two unnecessary fouls.

As the transfer window opens, there has been a lot of speculation over his future. Eboue seems willing to move elsewhere to play more first team football, in light of the approaching World Cup in South Africa.

Without doubt Eboue is a great player to have in your squad. He can play a lot of positions, having played as a left-back and seeming comfortable. He also played in central midfield, and when Sagna is out he is undoubtedly the best option. He may even be the best second choice right-back in world football.

I personally think Arsenal should keep Eboue. What about the rest of you?
