I know there is this belief by many that Chuck Liddell should call it quits. Others believe he should go to war a couple more times.

I would personally like to see him fight again.  Call me crazy, but I believe he is still a threat to a lot of people.  Can he win a title again?  Well, with the trading of the titles so frequently now anything is possible with a couple wins.  I know I dodge the question, so we will leave it at that.

If Chuck does decide to fight and the UFC doesn't bench him for another year I would like to see him fight Rich Franklin.  I have looked at the UFC roster and believe these two are the most evenly match opponents.

Both like to stand.  Both like to brawl. Both are crafty.

Since Rich beat Wanderlei Silva and Chuck beat Wanderlei Silva I think this is a must fight for both fighters to climb up the ladder.

With all do respect to Rich Franklin his road is going to get harder and harder with the much bigger light weight division.  I just can't imagine him getting wins over the muay thai guys and the harder strikers.

Sure Wanderlei Silva is a muay thai guy, but he is a smaller guy compared to Bonner, Griffin, Liddell, Rampage, Jardine and many others.

It would be a pretty evenly matched fight for both parties in my book.

The question is now, does Chuck want to hang up the gloves and party like a rock star or put on the gloves and train.  I really hope his choice is to train and I hope the UFC doesn't black ball him on wanting to fight.

Will the UFC risk putting Rich Franklin in the mix when he is one of their stars?  Only time will tell, but I think this fight makes sense on paper as well lining the pockets of the UFC once again.

I say make the fight along with Rampage and Evans.

I guess that's why they pay me so much for my opinion in these matters.  You should see my 1099-Misc for last year from the UFC.

Hold on....let me look that up real quick so I can tell you what I made from the UFC.  I'll be right back.
