Although the dotted lines are not yet signed it is almost sure that Manny 'the pacman' Pacquiao and Miguel 'junito' Cotto will come face to face in the ring on Nov. 14, 2009.

As we all boxing fans anticipate a good fight or maybe a great fight, I cannot help myself to imagine how will the fight will turn out.

So based on their last fights and other fights before, I would like to share my personal prediction on how will the fight will turn out.

I hope you will like this.

Round 1

The two protagonists will, as expected will size each other where Miguel will try to land his vaunted left straight to the face more often and Manny will try to counter with right cross and left straight. Manny will land more blows due to his speed advantage and Miguel will try to force himself into Manny although he will catch more. A one power punch will land on Manny and he will be forced to step back though this will not deter him from landing more power punch. Manny 10 Miguel 9

Round 2

This time Miguel will try to counter more power punch. He will wait Manny to commit mistake and use jabs to connect to the face and to the body. He will be successful to the face but he will have his hands full going to the body because Manny will hit him with more blows to the body countering. A fast combo to the body will rock Miguel and he will retreat back on the defensive. This will give Manny some confidence and will try to land more blows on the head in combo but Miguel will land power jabs every now and then. A more close fight in this round. Some will give this to Miguel but others to Manny. Manny will land a punch that will give Miguel something to think about. Manny 10 Miguel 9

Round 3

At this time Manny's face will a little bit red due to the power punches connected by Miguel and Miguel will feel some pain in his groin due to the multiple connections by Manny. The round will start as Manny will go to Miguel's body and Miguel will defend it more and more that his face will be vulnerable to Manny's straight left. Manny will connect some lefts to the face while Miguel will go back to backpedaling and side to  side movements and will connect fewer power punches. But as the bell rings Miguel will catch Manny with another power punch that will rock the pacman's head. Manny will raise his hands to show that he is not hurt. Many will give this round to Miguel due to his last punch but considering the number of punches thrown, this is Manny's round. Manny 10 Miguel 9.

Round 4

In this round Miguel will be more aggressive. Connecting jabs and power punches in succession. Manny will backpedal more and his counter rights will bale him out on some occasions. Miguel has already solved the straight lefts but the right cross which was named the manila ice will come into picture. A hard right will produce slight dent to the left eyelid of Miguel which was cut in his recent fight. Manny will take advantage on this and will pound Miguel with more blows upstairs. A swelling will occur and as the round is finished blood will be drifting slightly. Miguel will throw more punches and will try to land big blows to end the fight but will not be successful because of Manny's quickness. Miguel 10 Manny 9

to be continued....
