Looking for a college football team to start following this fall season?  Want to make sure your fantasy team ranks higher in points than Cindy Margolis daily downloads?

Well make sure they bring an exciting brand of football every week, have a young, aggressive coaching staff, sprinkle in some speedy wide receivers and a unbelievably underrated running back, and the cliche-like killer quarterback. Splash it all in the color of passion—Red—and out spawns one of college football's most prolific offensive teams.

Welcome your 2009 Houston Cougars.

If there's ever a time to at least consider becoming a fan, even a passive fan of UH Football, make it this season.  Why?  Maybe the fact that you're probably a student or former student of UH is reason enough to start following UH football.

If you're interested because we have the No. 1 offense, or that we have a potential Heisman candidate in Case Keenum, maybe it's that your team is looking for a new head coach and you've noticed UH has one of the game's most talented young head coaches on our staff...whatever the reason—UH football will not disappoint this year.

The excitement is in the air right now.  We have a new AD in Mack Rhoades who has a proven track record of getting things built—and bringing in fund-raising money, we have a school president that wants to see our programs reach "Tier One" status, basically the term used to say National powerhouse.

And we have an incredible offense that's led by a proven leader and potential Heisman Candidate—Case Keenum.

Our coaching staff is hungry, smart and not timid to try risky yet calculated strategies.  Our gameday environment and tailgating is second to none.  We are the best value in the Houston area.  We are in Texas, where football is a religion—Need I say any more?

We're playing Texas Tech at home, Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Miss. State in Starkville, and of course, Rice at home this year.  This is OUR year.  This is YOUR year.  Be part of it.
