I don't think that i'm the only person that is sick and tired of hearing about baseball players who used steroids. I think that it is great that the game came down hard on these cheaters. I think that these players who used performance enhancers should be stripped of every reward and stat that they have ever had.

That brings me to this. I have made a list of players that not only did it the right way but had very successful careers. Most of the players on this list are going to be in the hall of fame. This is a tribute to the people who worked hard and did everything the right way. These are the players that we should be talking about, not the cheaters who made baseball a sham for a decade.

1. Ken Griffey Jr.

Here's a guy that is the epitome of hard work. Griffey never used steroids and he is in one of the most elite and hardest groups to get into. He is in the six hundred home run club. Great players are in this club like Ruth, Arron just to name a couple.

Griffey has hit the heck out of the ball his whole career with 618 home runs, 1794RBI, and 2719 career hits. Not only could he hit the ball this outfielder could get just about any ball hit to him. He has won ten golden gloves and was the 1997 MVP in the American League. He could've easily used steroids just like all those other players but he didn't he just kept hitting that ball.

2. Jim Thome

Another big hitter Jim Thome he is also a five hundred home run hitter and he never used steroids. Jim has hit a whopping 553 home runs, he also has 1527 RBI, and 2090 career hits. He has been one of the most consistent hitters in his career. Thanks to players like Jim Thome there is a little decency left in the game today.

3. Derek Jeter

One of the best shortstops in the history of baseball. He never used steroids he just worked hard. Someone once told me it doesn't matter how many amazing plays you make its the routine plays that make you good. Jeter makes all the plays amazing and routine that's what makes him the one of the most solid shortstops in the history of the game.

Not only could Jeter play defence he can also hit. He's been a staplemark on the top three of the Yankees linup for the past decade. Derek has hit 215 homeruns, has 1032 RBI, and has 2617 career base hits. Jeter is a hall of famer just like the other two.

These are just three of the players who played the game right. These are the guys that should be getting all the press not the players who cheated. Next time your watching a game and you see one of these three players come up to bat you'll know that these are the real marquee guys.
