Well Kyle Busch has confirmed that all Dale Earnhardt Jr. fans are raving lunatics.
As most of us know Kyle smashed a one of a kind Gibson guitar, trophy for the winner of the Nashville nationwide series race.
Well its no surprise that he caught a lot of smack for that move, he claimed he was trying to be like a rockstar.
Kyle Petty had it right by saying that Busch is a race car driver, not a rock star.
I'm guessing Kyle Busch didn't car for what fans had to say about it, He spoke mainly of one drivers fan base in general. Yep you guessed it, Junior Nation.
On smashing the 25,000 dollar work of art:
"It's not going to happen to the (Daytona 500) trophy, it's not going to happen to the Martinsville clock. Again, it was just in the spirit of rock n' roll with a guitar. That's what it was all about. I tried doing a good impression ... it didn't turn out very well. I don't know if I'm not strong enough of that thing was that strong. I'll go with both.
"I don't regret it. I thought it was fun. There was only one comment that I've had this past week to my face that was any different than in support and it was just like, "hey, don't go out and break any more guitars' from a fan in Berlin, Mich. We were up there for the late model race. Everybody out there, 99.9 percent of them were for it. They thought it was great.
"I'm not going to speak on the behalf of (team president) J.D. (Gibbs), but I believe he told me he thought it was cool and his kids were blown away by it. Like they thought it was awesome.
"It was fun. A lot of people enjoyed it, thought it was different. The sport is not so vanilla. A lot of people hated it and I guess those are the ones with 88s tattooed on their arm. Or maybe still 8s. I don't know which.
"I ain't got no issues with (Dale Earnhardt) Junior. It's his fans that are crazy. But that's all right.''
As we can all see he does have an issue with Junior.
It may be as simple as Kyle not understanding that the most popular is not always the best or it could be a jealous mamma's boy whining about whatever he can get away with.
Whatever the reason he clearly doesn't care for Dale Jr. or his fans.
A word of advice to Kyle, pick on someone with less fans. You never know who has a potato launcher, be very careful.
Its obvious that Kyle is used to criticism from fans but he's in for more than he's ever gotten.
Seriously, this might be bigger than the 2008 Richmond spring race incident, remember, two laps to go and Kyle turns right into Junior's car..... we all know the story by heart as do we many others.
