English Premier League v. Europe, A Shift In Balance?
Some are looking at the Kaka and Ronaldo move as a shift in European league power, some are more interested in what is going to be done about inflation in player wage and transfer prices, and others like me prefer to view the picture in panoramic view.
Kaka and Ronaldo leaving for Spain doesย not affectย the English Premier League negatively no no no,ย I refuse to think such rubbish. At best Kaka was never part of the English Premier League and Ronaldo leaving strengthens the English Premier League as now we do not have to put up with his diving and whining anymore.
In any league in the world, all the cameras are on theย most popularย players 85 percent of the time so we don't need the most popular players in the EPL diving and whining all the time, it makes for bad entertainment.
Sure there are still a few left to weed out like Drogba for instance, hopefully the EPL will lose him too?
Butย I want to say this much, if anything Ronaldo leaving is a sign of greatness, we will continue to see more young future superstar players appear in the EPL over the coming years andย I mean extremely great young talent ofย an even greater calibreย than Ronaldo.
Sure the Spanish league has just gained more attraction but the EPL still has its strength and appeal. If anything Spain has just become what the EPL was onceโan unbalanced mess.
How on earth will other Spanish clubs begin to compete withย Barcelona and Real Madrid? We have just seen Man United's grip on the EPL become weak giving for more competition. Our EPL has just gained a fresh perspective and allย I can say is, about time too as no one club should dominate a whole league, especially one using mass debt to finance the shambles.
It is about time European football governing bodies did something about heavily indebted clubs across Europe.
The next few seasons will show English football still has what it takes to compete at the very top, even without Man United.
