Which cricket ground in the greatest of all times? Better than the best. The king of all other grounds. The one on which the first Test of the world was played. The answer is just one "Lord's". Just "Lord's".

Let us learn about some unbelievable performances at Lord's.

India vs West Indies 1983 World Cup Final

The top team West Indies were on the verge of winning a World Cup hatrick. They had won the first two World Cups and now they had to face India in the finals of the third World Cup.

The Windies won the toss and chose to field.

The Indians were off a shake start and none of the players managed to score a fifty. They were all out for 183.

The Indian hopes were shattered. The skipper Kapil Dev was upset and was not happy with his team's performance. But the match was not over.

West Indies came in to bat and the Indians started bowling. Madan Lal and Mohinder Amarnath bowled great spells and got the Windies all out for just 140 and scraped a win for India.

Nobody could believe it. India who were considered a minnow in those days had won the World Cup.

India vs England 2002 NatWest Series Final

The Indian team had just got a new captain and anew coach and were playing against England in the NatWest series final.

England won the toss and chose to bat.

Two great innings from Marcus Trescothick and Nasser Hussain took England to a giant total of 325.

The Indians were looking as if the had already lost the match. But the match had to go on.

Virender Sehwag and Saurav Ganguly provided a great start for the Indians. But after their wickets fell, the next three batsmen got out cheaply. Then Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif played a fighting innings to help India achieve their target of 326 and win the match as well as the series.

No one could believe their eyes. All the Indians were celebrating. Who had thought that India would win. It was an unbelievable victory.

Netherlands vs England 2009 T20 World Cup

The minnows playing against the all time greats and still looking so confident. I don't think they will win.

The minnows won the toss and chose to field.

England made a great start and also a great finish with a great opening partnership of 102 England set a target of 163 for the minnows.

The minnows started to play and with a few good innings from their middle order the achieved their target to give England a humiliating defeat.
