Feuds of the Future Part One: Raw Is War

Stuart RyanContributor IJune 6, 2009

I know that there are plenty of articles on B/R with people expressing their views on feuds they would like to see on each brand, so I have decided to join in on the fun.

I will be doing four parts to these articles: one for all three brands and then one tri-branded. Without further ado, let us begin.

The Colons vs. The Legacy

Since the draft, I have been down on my hands and knees praying before Raw that we would have a Legacy vs. Colons Unified Tag Team Title Match.

Instead, we get teams like Hornswoggle and Goldust teaming up against The Brian Kendrick and some waste of space he can drag out from the locker room.

I mean, come on WWE. For all us Orton/Legacy fans out there, give Ted and Cody the titles before you turn Ted face for the release of The Marine Two.

Batista vs. The Big Show

Personally, I would love to see these two giants go at it in the squared circle. I respect Big Show as he seems to be able to feud with nearly everyone on the roster so a feud with Batista would go down well in my book.

It would keep Batista out of the World Title chase for once and would give us an interesting feud with two big men going at it.

Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels

Like the Colon/Legacy feud, please WWE, let these two feud for one last time. Trips and HBK have such chemistry when feuding together and I enjoy both of their work.

There is only one twist I would like to see in this tale. I think it would be better if HBK were the heel instead of Trips, it could bring the feud to all new heights.

John Cena vs. The Miz

The buildup for this feud has been bubbling under the surface for sometime now and with the right script, it could be made to perfection.

The Miz has a self-proclaimed '8-0' win streak over Cena and has been bashing Cena for the past few weeks (which I have been loving greatly).

Considering Miz thinks that Cena has no self-respect, I think Cena should come out and challenge him to a match at the next PPV which is The Bash.

I think the feud should be escalated to PPV status, much like the Benjamin/Morrison feud made it into the Judgment Day match card.

Triple H vs. Batista vs. John Cena

Everyone seems to think that Batista will turn on Trips during a title match with Randy Orton or vice versa, but I think that Vicki will make a Number One Contenders Match between these two.

John Cena will then be subbed into this equation and we could see a blockbuster of a match between the biggest babyfaces in the company.

Personally, I would love to see this match at Summerslam. I would also like to see Trips and Batista squaring off one on one.

Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. The Legacy

With the Marine 2 being released whenever, the WWE is planning to make Ted DiBiase Jr. face(please don't pull another 'Cena') to promote his new movie like they do with all their movie stars. There are two ways that WWE can turn Ted face.

(a) They could have Ted betray Orton during a WWE Championship match and cost him the title.

(b) They could have Ted win the U.S. Championship which would then lead to Rhodes and Orton becoming increasingly jealous and eventually giving Ted the good old fashioned beat down we have come to love from stables.

Although it is just recycling what Evolution did to Orton, I would prefer to see option (b) as it would give Orton and Rhodes plenty of heel heat and would give Dibiase the backing from the fans if he can pull off the face role.

Kofi Kingston vs. The Miz

Sure, we have seen these two go at it in Tag Team Matches but, now that they are on the same show, I would love to see them go at it over Kofi Kingston's new found United States Championship.

Miz has been on fire lately and after a short feud with Cena, I think he should show how dominant he is by taking the Raw Mid-Card Championship.

There are plenty more feuds I am sure I could write about, but these were the best I could think of as of right now. I should have Smackdown! feuds up by tomorrow and the ECW by next weekend due to exams. Thanks for reading B/R fans and have a good week.
