Damage Control on Vince Young’s Big Mouth

Let’s see here...

Your replacement leads your team to a division title. And over your own career, you’ve thrown 32 interceptions and 22 touchdowns. I’d say now’s not the time to demand a starting position or a trade...unless you’re Vince Young, apparently.

“Shady” Will Save the Eagles...

In Andy Reid’s offense, second-round pick LeSean “Shady” McCoy could end up being the biggest steal of the draft. He’s got great quickness and bursts of speed. With Brian Westbrook out for surgery, McCoy will have plenty of time to shine.

...Unless He Doesn’t

Will Philly really be able to recover from Westbrook’s surgery? Sure, Shady and other backs will get more reps, but that may not be good enough to fill Westbrook’s shoes.

Could Andy Reid have done better this offseason? What do you think?

Cornerback Battle in Pittsburgh

Corner is one of only two positions on the Steelers that will see some competition this season. With Brian McFadden gone, William Gay and Deshea Townsend will have to battle for the privilege of being not nearly as good as Brian McFadden.

Family Ties or Growing Pains? Rex Ryan and Brian Schottenheimer in New York

The Jets’ head coach and offensive coordinator come from a lineage of football royalty—the sons of Buddy Ryan and Marty Schottenheimer. Like Father Like Son? New York definitely hopes so. Maybe the Jets should hire Kirk Cameron too?
