Martin Truex Jr. latest quote:

“The picture is pretty clear for me right now, I am in a good place. I am pretty happy with the way things have gone and I have been having fun at the race track and things are going well right now. I think in the next few weeks, everybody will know what is going on. I have just been concentrating on racing because I the picture is kind of clear so I am not really worried too much about it too much"

Let's break down this statement:

"The picture is pretty clear for me right now..."  how clear is it for the EGR crews, the other driver on this team, the EGR fans?

"I am in a good place, I am pretty happy with the way things are going..." OK, what is that all about, happy because he got a new job, is the rest of team happy too? Just asking.

"I think in the next few weeks everybody will know what's going on..." what's going to change in a few weeks? Why not tell everyone now? Does EGR already know he is gone? Maybe he gave a two weeks they do that in NASCAR?

"I have been concentrating on racing..." Is that reflected in the standings? Just saying!

This is a third of the season, is this the appropriate time to be beating the drum week in and out, about going or staying on this team?

You don't even see this in mid-season in the NBA, NFL, or MLB do you?

Maybe he is just fooling us and is really going to stay at EGR.

But just in case, why not just say good bye now, and bring in Aric Almirola or better yet bring in Scott Riggs, this guy really wants to find a ride, he would make a good team player.

I feel all this talk is hurting this team, we never know what's going on in the internal working of a team, but all this talk can't be helping anyone.

The best thing to do for all involved in EGR is for Truex Jr. to go if he must, or stay if he wants to, but for gods sake get something done.
