How Many People Support Your Club?

World Sport-ESPN conducted an international survey relating to club football to decide which club had the largest fan following.

The survey was taken around 40 countries through 90 million people.

The results below are regarding the top 10 clubs and have been distributed by percentage.

1. Manchester United (England) 28%

2. Real Madrid (Spain) 22%

3. AC Milan (Italy) 17%

4. Juventus (Italy) 9%

5. Barcelona (Spain) 7%

6. Liverpool (England) 6%

7. Bayern Munich (Germany) 4%

8. Olympique Lyon (France) 3%

9. Chelsea FC (England) 2%

10. Arsenal FC (England) 1%

10. Inter Milan (Italy) 1%

Arsenal and Inter Milan received equal votes in last place. I was surprised to see such a staggering difference between Manchester United, Real Madrid and the rest.
