The LSU Tigers play tonight against the Baylor Bears and the winner will advance into the championship game on Sunday. LSU beat Southern University 10-2 on Friday in a game that scared Tiger fans until the 7th inning. Southern scored 2 runs in the 1st inning and the score remained 2-0 through 6 innings and it was not until the 7th inning until LSU gained the lead.

Some Tiger fans were disappointed in the fact that it took LSU 7 innings to gain the league, but give credit to Southern. For those fans who will find the negative in yesterday’s game, then you should find a ticket and go to tonight’s game and make sure the crowd is in the game for 9 innings. To be honest, the crowd did not get into the game until the 6 inning which is when LSU started getting it together. The fans are a big part of the game and for those who complain about everything, if you don’t like how things are done then go to the game and be a part of it.

That is enough ranting for the day. Minnesota and Southern are currently playing and the loser goes home and the winner plays the loser of tonight’s game. Whoever wins the first game tomorrow will play the winner of tonight’s game in the championship game. The winner of the championship game will advance to play a super regional. If LSU wins the Baton Rouge regional, they will host a regional and will play the winner of the Rice regional.

The Tigers will more than likely win their regional this weekend and too many fans; if they don’t win the super regional and advance to Omaha it will be a disappointing year.
