Wizards: Gilbert Arenas Just Needs To Shut Up

Gilbert Arenas might just have the proper nickname, Agent Zero. Zero as in what he has accomplished. He has done nothing but run his mouth every since he was at Arizona.

Arenas is a great scorer but a horrible leader. He could not lead a talented group of players in Arizona to a national title and now he is being asked to lead a team to the NBA finals.

Since coming to Washington Arenas has only played in 75 or more games twice in five years. If he is going to lead at team it would help if he is actually healthy enough to play a full season. Of course you could also argue that the Wizards are a better team without him in the lineup.  

Now, Arenas has come out in his blog, which is a pathetic way to talk trash, and in the media saying that the Cleveland Cavilers, who are the defending Eastern Conference Champions, are overrated and that they are going to beat them and wanted to play them. In his words,"We want Cleveland for our own reasons; we don't think they can beat us in the playoffs three years straight." Hey Gilbert, when you have to write this or even say it you are officially sad and pathetic. 

Now Agent Zero is not alone in the trash talking because DeShawn Stevenson called out LeBron James saying that he was overrated because he missed a three at the buzzer that would have beat the Wizards. Real quick FYI Michael Jordan missed 26 game winning shots by his own admission. That number could be a little skewed but since MJ said it, I will assume that he is correct. So DeShawn, is Jordan an overrated player too?

But seriously, how is a team and a player overrated when they have beaten you  the last two years when in matters most, in the playoffs. LeBron James single handily beat them two years ago with buzzer beating shots, including one that was practically a lay-up.

So Gilbert, Agent Zero, whatever you want to be called please just shut up. You have called out a guy and team that has owned you in the playoffs. I am a betting man, and I would bet my house on the fact the Cleveland beats Washington and beats them bad.
