Southampton continued their fine run of form on Saturday, extending their unbeaten streak to six games with a commanding 2-0 victory over Fulham.

The first half was the difference as the Saints outshot the Cottagers 14-0, and goals from Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez enabled Southampton to cruise through the second half.

With the victory, Southampton leap into an automatic Champions League place, sitting in third place with 18 points.
