Everyone just wait. Hold your horses. Don't fall off the wagon just yet.

Sometimes I don't understand why the first three weeks of the season are the benchmark. The Indians were predicted to win it all by much smarter people than most of us.

If Eric Wedge stays stubborn and keeps allowing Joe "Blow-saves" Borowski to pitch in the ninth inning—or any inning with a lead for that matter—then we will have problems.

When he returns from the disabled list, he should be in mop up situations only for the remainder of the season. Get his confidence back, and then reevaluate him next season. Maybe the Indians can do something in the off-season and go and try and pick up a decent closer via free agency.

C.C. Sabathia will be fine.

He's coming off a Cy Young-winning season and he has a contract negotiation in the back of his mind. What he needs to do is suck it up, sign the extension with the Tribe and go out there and be the best pitcher in the American League like he was last year.

Last year, Carlos Zambrano had a terrible start to the season. But once his contract was settled with Chicago, he settled down and pitched very well for the remainder of the season.

Fausto will be fine as well. He is coming off a 19-win season. That is not just a fluke. It will come back. He is going to stop staring at all those zeros on his new contract, come back down to earth, and pitch like he knows he can.

The hitting will also come around.

Victor is hitting spectacularly. Just wait until the power comes back in those legs; we'll be looking at an MVP season for the best offensive catcher in baseball.

Sizemore will eventually learn that as the lead off hitter, it's not all about hitting home runs and driving in 100 runs. He will learn that his job is to get on and make pitchers think.

He is a menace on the base paths, allowing Pronk and Victor the ammo to drive in and score runs for one of the best offenses in baseball.

All you wagon-jumpers out there, see if someone will let you back on. The best is yet to come.
