Lukas Fabianski:7: The deputy keeper did not have his hands full against United but when called upon did the job and never looked like conceding. A vital touch with his feet denied Tevez a good chance.

Bacary Sagna:6: Caught out of position on occasions but did provide a useful source in attack.

Kolo Toure:7: Solid and strong. The Ivorian was Arsenal's best defender as he made a number of impressive tackles and interceptions.

Alexandre Song:6: Defended well, but looked a little nervy at times. Was solid when called upon. Glad to see Silvestre not playing.

Kieran Gibbs:6.5: Was troubled early on by the pace of Ronaldo, but the English teen-ager performed well up against the worlds best, and was more than handy in attack. Almost made the score sheet with a neat effort.

Denilson:6.5: Made a number of strong tackles in the midfield and his passing was accurate and well timed. A neat performance from the youngster.

Abou Diaby:6: Looked dangerous at times, but never really found his way into the game. Surprised to see him stay on for the whole game and not Nasri or Arshavin, but Wenger can be useless with his substitutions.

Cesc Fabregas:6.5: Held the ball up nicely and his passing was intact. Failed to challenge the keeper with his long range efforts. Was solid defensively too.

Samir Nasri:7: Passed an moved superbly and looked the most likely to break the United defence. Odd to see him taken off.

Andrei Arshavin:6.5: A few impressive runs but didn't set the world on fire. Needed to see more ball and move a bit more.

Robin van Persie:6: Once again failed to dominated upfront alone, which in a way is Wenger's fault. Some nice passages of plays and if it wasn't for Micheal Carrick, the Dutchman probably would have scored twice off dangerous free kicks.

Substitutes

Nicklas Bendtner: 5.5: Couldn't add the spark that was missing from Arsenal, but did control the ball relatively well.

Theo Walcott:5: Was brought on to add speed but failed to inject anything.

Emmanuel Eboue:N/A:
