WWE Judgement Day 2009 is a mere 30 hours away and it is not without it's shortage of predictable matches, confusing storylines and one match with career implications. Heres the card as I'm aware of it being but it is subject to change:

WWE Championship: Randy Orton (c) vs. Batista

John Cena vs. Big Show

IC Title: Rey Mysterio (c) vs. Chris Jericho

ECW Title: Christian (c) vs. Jack Swagger

CM Punk vs. Umaga

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge (c) vs. Jeff Hardy

Now for what will happen:

WWE Championship: Randy Orton vs. Batisth

This is a match I really would rather not see happen for a few reasons. Reason number 1 being that the match will be very boring, every Batista match is the same thing; He gets his ass kicked for 15- 20 mins, then spinebuster to Batista Bomb or he goes spinebuster then has the Batista Bomb reversed into the other guys finisher.

Expect more of the same from this match, Randy will probably control and work on the ever injured knee of Batista, then Spinebuster followed by a Batista Bomb reversed into an RKO, I'm going to make a bold Prediction, however, that Triple H will interfere to stop a Punt.

Prediction: Randy Orton retains

John Cena vs. Big Show

Another boring match in an overly played-out storyline. Expect Big Show to Control and then an Attitude Adjustment (it feels wrong to write the name of that move ) to an STF(U).

This should be the last match before a likely feud with the Miz for Cena and a possible IC feud for Big Show. It will pretty slow good match to take a bathroom break until the very end.

Prediction: John Cena

IC Title: Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Jericho

This match is actually more interesting than it seems. Rey will finally be close enough to Jericho size so as not to draw the traditional underdog status for the match. What intrigues me though is whether WWE will put Rey over considering his tri-annual injury habits.

Chris could really use the IC title for some steam towards a match with Big Show or a feud with Edge.

Prediction: New IC Champion: Chris Jericho

ECW Championship: Christian vs. Jack Swagger

Here's a match worth watching between WWE's top prospect and the man who is the reason any of us watch ECW.

Christian is finally getting a run with a major (albeit forgotten) championship and he will more than likely not dissapoint, what bothers me though is the whole if dreamer isnt champ in summer when his contarct runs out, he will quit so it's obvious to me that dreamer will take the title at Night of Champions or Great American Bash.

Now for Swagger, this guy has impressed me in everything he has done, from good mic skills ( Except for the lisp, no offense to those with lisps) to an excellent ability to wrestle and his promo abilities.

Swagger will probably have anohter title run on the near future but for now Christian seems like the guy who will give the title to Dreamer.

Prediction: Christian

CM Punk vs. Umaga

Umaga is finally back fromm an injury that took forever to heal and is doing what he's good at, beating up on faces.

I'm going to say this match will be boring, however, due to "Crappy Match" Punk (clever huh?) with his usual predictable move set getting a win with some off the wall GTS on a guy he should never be able to pick up.

Expect Umaga to control and punk to rattle of a series of knees and somehow pull off a GTS.

Prediction: CM Punk

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge vs. Jeff Hardy

This is the match is a match of facts: The WHC has not been sucessfully defended yet in 2009, Edge has more than his fair share of short title runs, and of course Jeff's contract is up in summer.

If Jeff is able to win the title it could mean that he will be staying with the company or that they can merchandise the hell out of him as champ until he leaves. If he loses he will more than likely retire when his contarct is up.

This is why I think WWE will let him have the title.

One, because he is far and away the top babyface (dont cry for Cena he gets too many "Cena Sucks" chants) and two, because WWE would lose a fair amount of fans and ratings and merchandise dollars if Jeff were to leave.

Expect a long match with many false finishes and finally a ducked spear to Twist of Fate to Swanton for the win.

Prediction: New World Heavyweight Champion: Jeff Hardy
