Five Burning Questions For Trent Edwards

To me, the key to the Bills' 2009 season is Trent Edwards. Forget T.O.. Forget Pro-Bowler and future convict Marshawn Lynch. Forget Lee Evans. Success on any NFL franchise starts at the QB position.

Here's a list of burning questions for the man who holds the keys to the Super Bowl for Buffalo.

1.How much can you bench?

Edwards' arm-strength might be the single most important factor for the Bills' offense. If he can stretch the field the Bills will have good karma offensively.

2. Will you ever throw for 300 yards in a game?

Edwards is a dink and dunk specialist. He's a possession QB who makes sound decisions. He was also ranked 23rd in the NFL with 192.8 passing yards per game last season. Enough already!

3. Can you make T.O. happy?

Nobody wants a repeat of the Romo, Williams, Witten debacle that ended in disaster last season. A blissful T.O. is a productive one.

4. Can you understand a single word Marshawn Lynch says?

I sure can't.

5. What did you work on in the off-season?

There are no gaping flaws in his game, yet he's hardly an overpowering offensive juggernaut. I see Edwards as a Rothlisberger proto-type. Steady for three quarters and great in the clutch.
