There’s a new Batman movie coming out. But in an attempt to make it timelier, the movie has been completely re-shot and re-cast.

But, one key part, Batman, is left un-cast as of right now and it is unknown if it will be cast in time.

Two-Face, AKA Harvey Dent, will be played by Clay Bennett.

He was cast because of his proficiency in speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He told the poor people of Seattle that he was negotiating in good faith (what a joke.)  But it did land this retarded “Okie” in a feature film so he does deserve some credit.

Two-Face “campaigned” to keep the Sonics in Seattle. I see it this way: He sets up a meeting with city, county, or state big-wigs. He comes in, knowingly makes a fool of himself basically “sabatoging” any chance at getting help, and then pins the blame on the local government.

Bravo! Encore! But we need a supporting actor to really make this work.

Enter the Joker.

The Joker, re-cast from Heath Ledger’s depiction (God rest is soul), is now NBA Commissioner David Stern.

He worked hand in hand with Two-Face on this boondoggle. But, in true villainous fashion, Two-Face double crossed his ally.

In an email to David Stern, Bennett wrote that Stern was one of the best people he had ever met and that he had no idea why members of his ownership group were making claims that they never intended to keep the team in Seattle.

But in private emails to other partners, he sounds like a school girl who just learned to IM.

The subject line of one of the obtained emails Bennett wrote stated, “the OKLAHOMA CITY SONIC BOOM (or maybe SONIC BOOMERS!) baby!!!!!!!!!!"

And Mark Cuban is the bane of Stern’s existence?

The finale of this picture is yet to be written. What is the Joker going to do about the perceived double cross? Will Two Face get away with this atrocity?

And most importantly, is there a Batman on the horizon that will save the day, and the Sonics as well?

Stay Tuned!

  1. The NBA should be ashamed of themselves. If my team leaves after all this then I don't want to have another team in Seattle. I am done with these ungrateful rich bastards. 41 years and you can just yank my team? I am done if they are gone. You won't get a chance for my time or dollar again. And I won't raise my kids with the NBA either. So you will loose at least two generations from my house!

    1. Is this the sentiment in Seattle? I know that Bennett is a douche but where is the major outcry that occurred when the Seahawks and Mariners threatened to leave in the early/mid 90s?

I'm a Blazer fan. And usually I'd laugh at Seattle's misfortune. But this is completely ridiculous!

  2. The word is "cast", not "casted".

    1. Sorry...Thanks for the heads up.

  3. There are many of us sports fans who will NEVER watch the NBA, buy its products, or support another team if this team is stolen from us. Even though I am for using some tax money to help support professional sports, I will never support the NBA moving another team here should the Sonics leave. My children will also not be allowed to follow the NBA and I will try to convince as many of my friends, family members, and coworkers to follow my example. Just like a currency has perceived value from a collective body in order to get its worth, so is a professional sports team that gets its perceived value from being associated with a regional area. This act will be a reminder that the NBA has no such loyalty to an area, so any allegiance we feel to a team should be broken immediately.

  4. From George:

Look at what they did to Charlotte with the Hornets. The owner wanted to move but the NBA let him go from one perceived horrible situation into a completely horrible situation that is finally starting to turn right in New Orleans.

David Stern is a tool for letting this happen and I hope that he does not allow this to go through now that he knows that he was lied to by Bennett and his group.

  5. "Is this the sentiment in Seattle?"

This is the sentiment with a good portion of Seattle - If the NBA does not value loyal fans, a long history, and a good market then why should the city value the NBA? Some see the NBA turning into a second rate league ... imagine a championship game with Oklahoma vs. say Orlando?

However, there is a large group of born and raised die-hard Sonics fans who are frankly so shocked that they are incapable of outrage. It is a bit like telling a child that his mother has terminal cancer ... right now they are just grasping the consequences of something that seems so unfair, and basically out or their control.

  6. Thanks for helping the movement. Could you add this to your article?

"As a form of protest, we vow to boycott any game next season in which
the Oklahoma City Sonics play, whether it be in our arena or watching
    it on television."

Also, please tell all interested people to e-mail/message that to any
media source they can think of. It all started with some Heat fans at
    The South Florida Fan:
    http://thesouthfloridafan.blogspot.com/2008/04/how-to-help-seattle-keep-their-sonics.html

It's on us (the non-Sonics fans) to make this happen.

  7. Thank you so much for the support! Count me among those who are done with the NBA altogether if the Sonics are allowed to move.

  8. I've known the NBA is rigged for 10 years. I can't believe it's taken so long for everyone to come around on this...but I"m supremely happy that it's finally happening.

It's a joke. Sterns a corrupt son of a #$#$&*(, and has ruined the game.

Superstars go to the line 20-30 times per night. The trades that happened to put Boston and LA in the finals this year. Come on. Gasol going to LA for a bag of chips, Garnet, Allen, Fisher the baby bailing out of his contract with the Jazz because LA needed another good player to make it.

In 2004 William Davidson's teams won the Stanley Cup, the WNBA finals and NBA championship all in the same year. Was it coincidence they are all owned by the same guy? Don't think so.

During the finals you could see the refs turn on Kobe Bryant like a pack of ravenous wolves (and I hate Kobe, so I was happy about it). The series before he was untouchable, then as soon as the finals started he was getting pummeled by the Pistons and not a single foul was called.

Honestly, how obvious can they be? Of course the corrupt Stern and Davidson were doing the dark backroom dealings make it all happen.

Stern runs the NBA like a ####, slapping fines on players and coaching for complaining about the obvious corruption. If he was interested in fair play he wouldn't play God and try to shut up every comment that is made.

I can't want for him to be sent to prison and get the NBA back to a game thats fun to watch again.
