               Mike Tomlin, head coach of the Steelers,34 years old,is the 16th head coach in Steelers history. Only the 3rd since 1969.I n his first season he brought the Steelers to a 10-6 record,the second coach in  team history to post a winning record, a winning division and earned a playoff berth in his first year as head coach. With Mike at the helm he guided the Steelers to the NFLs top ranked defense in 2007.

             John Mitchell,the asst coach under Mike Tomlin. This is John's 15th season with the Steelers as defensive line coach, which makes him the longest member of the Steelers staff. John joined the Steelers in 1994, now his 36th season in coaching. John was instrumental in defensive lineman including,three time pro bowl nose tackle, Casey Hampton and defensive end, Aaron Smith.

             Bruce Arians, Steelers offensive coordinator, Bruce was first hired as wide receiver's coach,the 55 year old was recently moved to offensive coordinator. Arians,was instrumental in making all pro wide receiver, Hines Ward one of the best wide outs in NFL today.

             Dick LeBeau, the Steelers defensive coordinator. He is considered the architech of the Steelers famed "zone blitz" Coach LeBeau was named defensive coordinator in 2004, after he spent the 2003 season with the Buffalo Bills. His impact on the coaching staff was profound as the Steelers returned to the top of the NFL in total defense and rushing defense in 2005.

             We would like to acknowledge the rest of the coaching staff as well ,which includes,Ken Anderson, Quarterback coach, Kieth Butler,linebackers coach, James Daniel, Tight-end coach,Randy Fitchner,Wide receiver coach,Ray Horton, defensive back,coach, Amos Jones,asst.special teams coach, Bob Ligashesky ,special teams coach,Kirby Wilson,running back coach, Larry Zierriein, offensive line coach. We as fans of the Pittsburg Steelers we would like to say ,Thank You, keep up the coaching excellence in 2009.
