My Two Cents: Pacman Jones the Wrestler
So now Adam "Pacman" Jones has a new pastime besides running from the cops and biting people on the ankle.
As reported on TNAWrestling.com, Pacman has signed an exclusive contract to partake in the festivities on the Total Nonstop Action circuit.
And yes, I just spit out my beer.

The NFL's Iron Fist, Commissioner Roger Goodell, suspended Jones on April 10th and barred him from Titans training camp.
He couldn't, however, keep him out of the squared circle.Ā
Jones says we don t know him, so we shouldn t judge him. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to wrestling, if only because so many others have made the transition before him.
Run by former superstar Jeff Jarrett, among others, TNA has given second chances to a whole host of ex-icons: Sting, Kurt Angle, the Steiner Brothers, Kip and BG James (formerly the New Age Outlaws), Team 3D (the Dudley Boyz), Kevin Nash, Rhino, Christian Cage (brother of WWE Superstar Edge), Tyson Tomko, and Andrew Test Martin.
Ā
Whatever his motivation, Pacman has decided to stray from the beaten path. In fairness, he does have to earn a living...and he won't know until Week 10 whether he'll be able to do it on the gridiron.
For Goodell to wag a finger in Jarrett s direction for signing Jones is insane. You can t run everything, Rog. Plus, Pacman is in some good company: The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin were both former college football stars, and the Chicago Bears' Steve Mongo McMichael had a successful run with the legendary Four Horsemen.
Pacman isn t even the only Titan with ties to TNA Kyle Vanden Bosch and Frank Wycheck were in last month s Victory Road Pay Per View. Andre Rison, Brian Urlacher, Johnny Damon, David Eckstein, and A.J. Pierzynski have all made cameos as well.Ā
Even if this is a publicity stunt, it s a pretty good one for Pacman. After the incidents in Nashville and Las Vegas, anything would be an improvement.
I'll be the first to admit that I've bad-mouthed Jones for his bad behavior, but even I'm intrigued by this trip. In all honesty, I think he's doing the right thing.
And seriously are Roger Goodell and Titans coach Jeff Fisher expecting him to just sit at home and do nothing? If wrestling keeps Pacman out of trouble, I m all for it.
Mr. Goodell, you need to focus on the upcoming season and especially on your impending Michael Vick decision. Let Pacman have his fun. What gives the NFL the right to stop anyone from doing anything that isn t football related?
Ā
As for the Titans you can t stop the man. Either release him or fire him, but let him earn a living.Ā
Morons.
