Hawks Lose Series 0 Games to 0

Mike Woodson would have you believe the Hawks have a chance in their series vs. the Cavs. The World would have you think otherwise.

The Atlanta Hawks have been left for dead, and quite unfairly. LeBron James has been anointed King, and while somewhat deserved, has hardly earned the rep. of a winner.

These two teams finished there season split three games to one, the Cavs winning both games at Quicken Loans Arena and the Hawks winning both games at Philips, oh thats's right the refs called a foul for LeBron with 2.2 seconds left and they won by one.

This is a Hawks team who has continued to get better every year, albeit slowly, but improved. This is a Cavs team that in the last four years has made the second round and only one time moved on.

The Hawks shot better from three, out rebounded, and had more assists than the Cavs in there head to head matchups this season. Lets look at them head to head:

Super star-              Lebron vs. Johnson    advantage: CAVS

          Lebron is the MVP  

Coaching-               Woodson vs. Brown   advantage: Even

         Is Mike brown really any good?

Point Guard-           Bibby vs. West  Advantage: Hawks

       Be honest does anyone really run this team besides LeBron?

Crazy person off bench-  Varajeo vs. Pachulia : Hawks

I have clearly cherry picked some of these items in the Hawks favor, but the point remains the same, the Hawks are good.

It is not easy to win 47 games in the NBA and win a first round series. Let's not be so quick to call this one, anyone think the Rockets had a chance in L.A.???

Cavaliers win in six, but Hawks gain a great deal of experience just like last year.
