LAS VEGAS - MAY 02: Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines celebrates after knocking out Ricky Hatton of England in the second round of their junior welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena May 2, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. (Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images)

It has been a very historic day today.. I was late for work, but hey, this is history that have unfolded before our very eyes!.... I was shocked when I saw a picture perfect right hook that knocked Hatton down on the first instance, but I was frantically jumping up and down when I saw Pacman deliver a straight left that knocked Hatton again in the very first round!... my oh my! And when he sent Hatton flat on his back (with arm raised and crossed eyes) with his patented left on the closing second of the round everybody is jumping like crazy!!!..really UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Ahhh, this is such a glorious day for all of us alive to have witnessed how Manny grabbed his Sixth Title in as many weight class and his fourth lineal title - noting that no man (or boxer for that matter) has ever done this in the wonderful scripture of Boxing! - yet, until Manny did it...today!

"I am the biggest man he will ever face...and I am the strongest among his opponents.." Ricky time and again tells everyone.

I would not argue with Ricky on his belief, but I hope he know now that the man he faced is destined for glory and much more greater things that is enough to re-write history. He should have been more discreet in discrediting Manny's win over Oscar Dela Hoya, always babbling to the media that "Oscar was dead at the weight he fought in on the night Manny demolished him.." - well Ricky one word - Manny destruction of Dela Hoya and you took him only a total of 10 rounds!! (While Mayweather took 22 rounds to have an SD and KO for both of RH and ODLH - well just mentioning, we will have this discussion later on different article.)

Manny is now on his peak...or should I say just starts to peak..he is getting better every fight! He have 19 straight winning rounds that are unmatched. He fought once at 135, once at 147 and once at 140 - all via a KO win with notable foes (with the exception of David Diaz - well with due credit to Diaz we cannot discount his bravado in the ring by giving a better fight to Pacman by lasting round 8 going to round 9 compared to ODLH stoppage at 3:00 of round 8 and Ricky Hatton stoppage at round 2)What does that mean to Manny Pacman Pacquiao's status? He is the top man, the MAN in the elite level. Now every fighter who wants to fight him (within his weight class) are thinking twice and the only question in their mind is "How long do I last with Manny inside the ring?".

I give double props to Freddie Roach, Manny's long time trainer since 2001, he does have a crystal ball somewhere. Though he is humble to announce which right round Manny's opponents are going to sleep - didn't you observed people? - in MP vs ODLH, he predicted KO in round 9, Manny TKOed Oscar at the end of the 8th round, now he predicted MAnny to stop Ricky in Round 3, Manny stopped Hatton in the 2nd. Maybe Roach is just playing us around, he really knows which round but he just doesn't want to be exposed and discovered on his magic. Seriously, Roach is one of a kind trainer. I know his verbal exchanges with Mayweather Sr. will be vindicated by Manny's fist.

As of now, Manny is the ONLY boxer/fighter that holds FOUR LINEAL TITLE (in Flyweight, Featherweight, Jr. Lightweight and currently Jr. Welterweight). He now have Six Title - by winning Alphabet Belts and Ring Magazine Belts - in as many weight division tying up with Oscar Dela Hoya who also won Six Titles in as many weight class (but only hold three lineal title in his six belts). Thus it is clear that Manny is THE MAN in boxing right now and possibly a few decades more - until another "Pacquiao" erase his accomplishment.

Next discussion would focus on Manny's possible opponents.
