The Upcoming Hatton and Pacquiao Fight will be a Bloody One

"There is only one Ricky Hatton."

Unfortunately for Ricky, he will be fighting a bunch of Pacquiaos in the ring this Saturday night. Let's just say that Pacman is going to devour Hitman. Pacquiao's speed will neutralize Hatton's power and also cause cuts on Hatton's face. Pacquiao might not be powerful enough to land a devastating KO punch against Hatton, but he sure is going to land tons of not-so devastating punches. I'm expecting blood to cover the ring (and some fans' nice clothes).

 

Prediction

 

Round 1

Both fighters starts measuring each other up. Hatton bullies Pacquiao. Pacquiao escapes and showcases his incredible footwork. Hatton chases Pacquiao and gets hit in the process. Hatton seems unfazed by Pacquiao's punches. Hatton is able to get inside and pummels Pacquiao in the body. 

The lead goes to Hatton.

 

Round 2

Pacquiao and Hatton exchange punches in the middle of the ring. Pacquiao moves away after landing a combination. Hatton is not hurt but is unable to get inside. Hatton sticks to his game plan tries to connect with Pacquiao. Pacquiao successfully lands punches as Hatton tries to move in.

The lead goes to Pacquiao.

 

Round 3

Pacquiao and Hatton clash during exchange. Pacquiao lands a clean shot to the head. Hatton is still trying to get inside, throwing and missing. Hatton has yet to land a solid punch. Pacquiao is starting to get more aggressive, forcing hatton to the ropes. Hatton covers up, and Pacquiao patiently picks his spots. Hatton charges, but Pacquiao catches Hatton coming in and opens a cut on Hatton's left eye.

Pacquiao keeps the lead.

 

Round 4

Hatton's cutman stops bleeding. Pacquiao targets Hattons swollen left eye. Pacquiao starts moving forward. Hatton sticks his ground. Hatton wins inside, forcing Pacquiao back. Pacquiao moving in and out, stopping Hatton's attempt to get inside. The cut opens up again. Pacquiao lands more clean shots just before the bell.

Pacquiao keeps the lead.

 

Round 5

Blood is pouring from Hatton's cut. Hatton is having difficulty seeing from his left eye due to the cut. Pacquiao takes advantage. Pacquiao is moving in and out, landing clean shots to the head. The cut gets even worse. Hatton is still moving forward, eating up combinations to the head and body. Hatton is not throwing as many punches but continues to move in. Hatton is unable to catch Pacquiao. Pacquiao keeps boxing outside, using reach advantage.

Pacquiao keeps the lead.

 

Round 6

Hatton moves inside, and pins Pacquiao to the ropes. Pacquiao is able to escape. Pacquiao lands more clean shots, slowing Hatton down. Hatton gets frustrated and careless. Hatton gets scrapped by Pacquiao, opening another cut. Hatton's face is covered with blood.

Pacquiao keeps the lead.

 

Round 7

Hatton, still bleeding, continues to get hit. Pacquiao is all over Hatton. Hatton tries to clinch, but Pacquiao lands a straight left that sends Hatton to the ropes. Pacquiao swarms Hatton. Pacquiao sends Hatton to the canvas with a five punch combination. Hatton is unable to get up.

Pacquiao wins.

"Ricky, I'm still your idol," says Manny Pacquiao.
