Doesn't It Feel Good to Be A Philadelphia Eagles Fan?

Doesn't it feel good to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan?

I know, I know...the pessimists will say, "well that isn't true because we haven't won the big game."  This is true; however, how many fans of other teams can say in the last decade they have had a legitimate chance at the Superbowl every year?

Not many...only the fans of New England, Pittsburgh, Indianapolis, and of course Philadelphia can say this.

All the aforementioned teams have won Superbowl's, except for our beloved Birds.  Although those other teams have had Championship wins, us Eagle fans are so fortunate to be fans of such a team.

You cannot help but root for the Eagles.  It seems like every year we have some type of emotional leader to really fire his team up.  For most of the decade, this has been none other than Brian "Weapon X" Dawkins.

Dawk is gone now, but all of Eagle Nation will cherish all the great memories that Dawk has given us.  Thank you Brian Dawkins!  We all love you like family and wish you the best of luck in Denver!

The Organization is under constant scrutiny from the Philadelphia fans as well as the media.

I have been very critical of the organization at times for not going out and getting a playmaker, but the fact of the matter is they put out a team that has a shot EVERY single year.  If we had other management, we probably wouldn't be where we are at every single year.

So I want to thank Jefferie Lurie and Joe Banner for fielding a Superbowl caliber team every single year.  And lets face it Eagle fans, the organization gives us something to blog about every year!!!

Even when the Eagles are in the midst of a losing season, it is still a great time to be an Eagles fan.

Our players are involved with the community, and two have been nominated or received the Walter Payton (Man of the Year) Award. Both Dawkins and Troy Vincent have been up for this award in the last eight years, with Vincent winning it in 2002.

That's why it is so easy to root for the Birds..Our players are involved with the community, and generally stay out of trouble.

I will BLEED GREEN until the day I die!!!  My fellow Eagle die-hards, show some love!

Post any memorable moments or just show some support for your team!!!!
