There are plenty of rumors circulating around the Liverpool football club that indicates some players may be leaving Anfield.

With Liverpool targeting certain players this summer, here are some guys that could be departing the team in the coming weeks.

Pepe Reina

According to David Maddock of Mirror, Pepe Reina may be traded to Barcelona in exchange for striker Cristian Tello, one of the best young strikers in the game.

Tello could be a perfect fit for Liverpool as a versatile striker, something that Anfield boss Brendan Rodgers looks for in young players.

Reina would have no trouble fitting in at Barcelona, where he played from 2000-02. That familiarity is a big reason why Barcelona has been targeting Reina.

Tello only made 11 starts this season, so a big part of a possible transfer will rely on how Tello sees his future. Regardless, Tello is the asking price for Reina, and Barcelona is certainly anxious to get the goalkeeper back on its roster.

Martin Skrtel

Although manager Brendan Rodgers came out and said that Skrtel is not for sale, according to Phil Kirkbride of Liverpool Echo, recent activities by the club to pursue Kyriakos Papadopoulos may be indicative of something else.

According to Adam Davies of Fanatix, Liverpool is closing in on a deal with Papadopoulos, who is one of the top prospects in the world at just 21 years old.

That puts the future of Skrtel in jeopardy, who was already benched this season in favor of the soon-to-retire Jamie Carragher .

If Liverpool ends up getting one of the hottest prospects on the market, don't expect the club to hold on to Skrtel for much longer.

Andy Carroll

According to a report in late April by Alan Hankin of Mirror, Carroll committed himself to Liverpool this summer to try and secure a future with the club.

Now though, it seems that Carroll's days in Anfield are numbered. In a Mirror report by Ed Malyon, Liverpool legend Kevin Keegan doesn't think that Carroll has a future under Rodgers.

If one of the biggest names in Reds history is saying there's no future for Carroll, it's probably pretty accurate.

Carroll is currently on loan to West Ham United

Expect Carroll to be out of Anfield by summer's end.
