Well Silva may have a new challenge for him at UFC 101. While the main event will be Kenny Florian vs BJ Penn for the Lightweight title. But the Co-Main event will be The Spider Anderson Silva fighting the former Light-heavyweight Champion Forrest Griffin!

Dana White signed this blockbuster because he felt in Silva's last two fights he wasn't himself. He said in his Patrick Cote fight Silva was toying with Cote.

He asked Silva "what was the problem in the Leites fight?" Silva answered with "Leites was blocking with his elbows and my hand hit his elbow at one time so I stepped back, because I didn't want to break my hand."

Silva was being very smart and kept this fight standing. Leites is very good in his BJJ and wanted the fight on the ground, while as mentioned above Silva wanted to keep the fight on their feet.

Griffin, when asked if he wanted to fight Silva, said yeah I'll fight him. I want to fight the very best is what Griffin previously stated. Silva told Dana White, "I'll fight anyone you want me to, no matter who it is."

Silva said that "Griffin is a big name with a big heart, which will make a legendary matchup."

"Griffin is very strong and has great cardio making him the full package and thats a good fight to me," says Silva. Dana White said he agreed with Silva on that.

White said that he was embaressed and did just want to walk out of the arena after the UFC 97 event.

Another fight in the works would be Bisping vs Silva for the title is an interesting point that was brought up in this story, but Bisping has to worry about Henderson first.

Well there are definitely some big fights coming up in the future for a lot of UFC fighters and possibly some non UFC or future UFC fighters. Good luck to everyone with their next fight, Thanks for the reads.
