0 of 5

Manchester United are the club to watch in this Sunday edition of the B/R World Football Gossip Roundup.

Cristiano Ronaldo has a homecoming on his mind and has reportedly been spreading the word about it.

Meanwhile, Gareth Bale might not be for sale, but that hasn't stopped a certain English club from making inquiries about Tottenham Hotspur's biggest star.

Both those stories and more appear inside. Keep reading for all the details.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has told a "senior player" at Manchester United that he would consider returning to the club, according to the Daily Star.

Ronaldo, 28, joined Real from United in a world-record £80 million transfer in 2009. After scoring two more goals Saturday, he has scored 199 goals in less than four seasons with the Bernabeu club.

Ronaldo has two years left on his contract. Paris Saint-Germain are also thought to be interested. Ronaldo's agent has declined to rule out a move to PSG (via ESPN FC).

Edin Dzeko

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has left open the possibility that the club could move for Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko (via ESPN FC).

Dortmund were hit with news that 20-year-old playmaker Mario Gotze is set to join rivals Bayern Munich in the summer. Striker Robert Lewandowski is expected to leave as well.

Dzeko, 27, has scored 12 Premier League goals this season in 29 appearances (15 as a substitute). He has been linked with Dortmund, but Klopp suggested Dzeko's wage demands might rule out a move.

    Klopp said:

I do not know anything of a meeting with Dzeko. But if you think about what will happen to us in the next few years, we have to think about him.

But judging by information we have, the wages he is content with technically do not fit ours, as we will not bend. We do not throw about peanuts.

Still, we will leave all doors open.

Gareth Bale

Manchester United could move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Gareth Bale, according to the Sunday Mirror.

Bale, a 23-year-old Welsh international, swept the PFA and FWA Footballer of the Year awards. He has scored 20 goals in 30 Premier League appearances.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas says Bale will not be sold, but Bale reportedly prefers United to Real Madrid, who are also thought to be interested.

Bale is reportedly valued at £60 million.

Luis Suarez

Suarez, a 26-year-old Uruguayan international, has been linked with a move away from Anfield. Bayern Munich are thought to be interested.

“I have a deal with Liverpool and this is my present—and future,” Suarez is quoted as saying.
