Manchester City looks for its second FA Cup win in three seasons, and has plenty of motivation to defeat overmatched Wigan on May 11.

With odds set at 1.40, they are huge favorites to win it this season, while Wigan saw odds set at or around 8.00 in most sportsbooks. The draw line is 4.75.

"Man City is not only the elite team in this matchup, they have more international experience and they have already beaten Wigan twice this season in the English Premier League," said Jason Green, an analyst at FACupOdds.com.

City lost out in the Champions League and can't catch Man United in the EPL. But if they win the FA Cup, head coach Roberto Mancini will have won a trophy for a third consecutive season.

They crushed Watford 3-0 in the tournament's third round and dispatched of fellow EPL side Stoke City 1-0 on the road one round later. In the fifth round, they cruised over Leeds United 4-0 and Barnsley 5-0 to set up their much-anticipated semifinal match up against Chelsea, according to OddsShark.com.

Manchester City went into the semifinals of the FA Cup as the underdog against Chelsea. But City took it to the Blues, as they not only won the time of possession (56 percent to 44 percent), but they scored the first two goals of the match and held on for a 2-1 win.

Even more impressive than the win (away from home at Wembley) was the fact that they beat a Chelsea squad that had not yet given up a goal in the FA Cup competition.

Wigan, meanwhile, has not beaten Manchester City since the beginning of the 2008-09 season. The last time they even managed a draw was in the 2009-10 season.

Wigan has their work cut out for them in this match handling the firepower of City. They also face a terrific defense.

Man City was also the major favorite a couple of seasons ago when they beat Stoke City. This season, they beat Wigan on the road 2-0 early in the season and 1-0 later in the season.

As of May 1, just two matches before the FA Cup Final, Man City has scored 61 goals in EPL action and conceded just 31. Wigan has scored just 39 while conceding 62.

Prediction: 3-0 City
