A Viking Rant! No...A Viking Chant!!

With the draft just one sleep away, I would hope there are another ten thousand Viking fans ready to jump on their sofa as the no.22 selection goes to Percy Harvin...because I'm one that won't be jumping.

Lets get ourselves another Center and run the ball.  Alex Mack seems like the top choice as his size and character can all but guarantee him ten years with the Vike's.  Even more of a dream is us going for a linebacker.  Both James Laurinaitus and one of the three USC LB's may be available, meaning Minnesota could beef up the core of thier D.  This would allow the already capable D Line to force balls at Minnesota's undervalued secondary.  I say BRING IT!!!

Moving on from the rookies, we begin to growl.  Allen passes Hutchisn the hammer and they go to work!  Warriors ready to fight for a common outcome, but all the time realizing there own leader is lacking! 

Brad Childress.  A gift and a curse.

Yes, he and Spielman have assembled a squad that can win.  But the head coach is always supposed to have that "it" factor, and Childress' was the ability to coach quarterbacks into championship winning quarterbacks.  While he got close with Donovan F., it did not happen.

It did not happen in Philli, and now Minnesota is about to give B-rad one last chance.  He has tried to get Mr. Rosenthal in purple for two seasons now, and having accomplished it, it seems time one of these projects should develop (obviously Tavaris Jackson the other).

Skipping many more points that I should, this is a team built to win now!  "We" are a team meant to win now.  I am the "We", loving the Vikings.

Although I agree with most on the BR, that Childress should resign the headset, I will not say that our team is misguided...
