Barcelona and Real Madrid are in serious trouble heading into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semifinals. Bayern Munich will take a 4-0 lead into Camp Nou, while Borussia Dortmund takes a 4-1 advantage into the Bernabeu.

Both German teams completely outclassed their Spanish opponents in the first leg. Neither match was close, as Bayern and Dortmund proved to be the much better sides.

While both Spanish teams have the potential to score goals in a hurry and make their matches much more interesting, the German teams are heavily favored.

Real Madrid vs. Borussia Dortmund

In the first leg, Real Madrid had very few chances and were lucky to grab a goal following a moment of distraction from the Dortmund defense. In order to come back, Madrid would need to score at least three goals to match Dortmund.

While they are capable of getting three goals, it's hard to see their defense holding Dortmund scoreless after the drubbing in the first leg.

Heading into the second leg, Dortmund has to be feeling very confident. Their cool style of play will be extremely dangerous on the counter. The more desperate that Real Madrid get for goals, the more likely that Dortmund will be able to exploit their pushing players forward.

Dortmund's defense has been extremely solid all season long, which should continue in the second leg. They have only conceded three or more goals just four times this season in all competitions.

In the second leg, Cristiano Ronaldo will inspire his Real Madrid side to a strong start, but that won't be enough. While Real Madrid might get an early goal, Dortmund will likely be able to answer and end Real Madrid's hopes.

Prediction: Real Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund (5-2 Dortmund on aggregate)

Barcelona vs. Bayern Munich

Lionel Messi wasn't 100-percent, which really cost Barcelona in the first leg. Bayern Munich completely outplayed their opponents, opening up four goals at home. Barcelona looked intimidated and outmatched against the talented Bayern squad.

While Barcelona didn't play well, this game was more about what Bayern did rather than what Barcelona didn't do. Bayern looked entirely composed and stated their case as the best team in football. Until a team proves otherwise, Bayern are the favorite to win the trophy.

If Barcelona has any chance to come back and win this in the second leg, they will need Messi to be healthy and dominant.

In the second leg, Barcelona will open up with a couple of goals, but they will ultimately come up short of reaching the final for the second straight year. Bayern Munich won't be forced into parking the bus and will be ferocious on the counterattack. Expect them to take advantage on at least one occasion.

Prediction: Barcelona 3-1 Bayern Munich (5-3 Bayern on aggregate)
