Paris Saint-Germain director of football Leonardo has denied a report that PSG have agreed to sign Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani from Napoli (via ESPN FC).
RMC reported on Tuesday that PSG had reached an agreement to sign Cavani to a four-year contract. Cavani's salary was reported to be €8.5 million per season. Later, the radio station contacted Leonardo, who denied the report.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reports Manchester City have reached a deal in principle to sign Cavani. The report says Real Madrid are also in the mix.
Cavani, 26, has scored 23 goals in 30 Serie A appearances this season.
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson plans to spend £50 million this summer to build on his team's 20th league title (via Daily Mirror).

According to the Mail, Chelsea would pay Atletico £46 million for the transfer. Falcao would make £200,000 per week in wages.
Atletico Madrid could pay up to €28 million to sign Colombian striker Luis Muriel from Udinese, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Marca).
Muriel would reportedly replace his countryman Radamel Falcao, who is expected to leave Atletico this summer. Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli are also interested, according to Gazzetta's report. Milan reportedly bid €10 million in January.
Muriel, 22, has scored eight goals in 17 Serie A appearances this season.
