It is so hard in win in NASCAR because there are so many things that have to line up to get to that checkered flag.

At times, I think there has to be a mystical type atmosphere in the air to win, your crews horoscope and all their stars, planets and moons have to lined up just right .

I did a better job predicting a win in F1 and INDY, I'm one of those fans who follow times, so you can guess what i do on Friday afternoon, (my day off) I golf and clean in the morning and I'm on the computer and in front of the tele by noon.

The only prediction I got right in 2008 was a couple of Kyle Busch's wins and we can all agree we don't have to be genius to figure that one out.

Having followed the progression of Juan Pablo Montoya in all his series, this has been the longest I've seen him go without a steady and measured progress.

Things look good, not great, and he looks comfortable driving this cars, even though I still think this EGR team is a middle of the road NASCAR team, I look for an oval win very soon.

Talladega just looks like the place to get this done, last week's race was a disappointment and a missed opportunity for this team.

A good finished at Phoenix would of put them right in the top-12 and a top-five or win in Talladega would solidify the chase.

I say that because I believe with this car he could will win one or both road courses and Don't forget how well he runs in INDY with a Dodge burro.

I hope I'm right, I think all my planets will be in line on Sunday and I'll say an extra Ave Maria, hope that helps...lol

JUAN PABLO MONTOYA wins at Talladega, now that's a headline I can live with.
