Chelsea apparently have found the new John Terry. He comes from Brazil.

OK, so maybe he won't ever become a club legend like Terry, but the Blues are reportedly eyeing Vasco da Gama defender Dede as a long-term replacement for their captain.

That story leads this Wednesday edition of the B/R World Football Gossip Roundup, which also includes updates on Jose Mourinho (pictured), James Rodriguez, Luis Suarez and more.

Keep reading for all the details.

Dede to Chelsea?

Chelsea are close to signing center-back Dede from Vasco da Gama for £20 million, according to the Daily Express.

Dede, 24, has been capped seven times by Brazil. According to the report, Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested.

Chelsea see Dede as a long-term replacement for 32-year-old captain John Terry, who has one year left on his contract.

Liverpool are reportedly willing to pay only £15 million.

Real Madrid's Jose Mourinho has received an offer from AS Monaco to become the world's best-paid manager, according to the Daily Mirror.

Monaco, currently in France's Ligue 2, are trying to build the squad with the riches of Russian billionaire owner Dmitry Rybolovlev. Mourinho has two years left on his contract with Real but is widely expected to leave the club this summer.

Monaco have previously targeted Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini.

Anderson, James Rodriguez

Manchester United's Brazilian midfielder Anderson could rejoin Porto this summer, paving the way for United to sign James Rodriguez, according to the Daily Telegraph.

Anderson, 25, joined United from Porto in 2007 for a reported £25.7 million. Last summer, Portuguese reports said Porto turned down United's £25 million bid for Rodriguez.

Rodriguez (pictured), a 21-year-old Colombian international midfielder, has scored nine goals in 19 league appearances this season.

Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez is not for sale, according to Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre (via Sports Illustrated).

Suarez, 26, leads the English Premier League with 22 goals this season in 32 appearances. The Uruguayan international has been linked with a move away from Anfield.

Bayern Munich are thought to be interested.

    Ayre said:

To play at the highest level in the Premier League and European soccer, you need players like Luis and Steven Gerrard on your team. So the last thing in our mind is selling Luis Suarez. He's not for sale. It's not something we're interested in.

Simon Mignolet
