WWE News: Fandango Madness Takes over Houston Texans Cheerleader Practice
The week began with one of the craziest editions of Monday Night Raw in WWE history.
It was on this night that a lively New Jersey crowd potentially launched the career of Fandango. As the week comes to a close, it seems the Fandango madness is continuing.
Tonight, WWE will air Friday Night SmackDown. Multiple spoilers are already talking about how the live crowd hums Fandango's theme song throughout the entire main event. The humming continues following the match and as SmackDown is going off the air.
Granted, SmackDown is not a live show. WWE tapes it on Tuesdays and airs it on Fridays. So technically, this fan reaction is coming directly on the heels of the over-the-top reaction Fandango received during Raw.
The craze that is Fandango isn't limited to arenas hosting WWE live events. The following tweet comes from the official Twitter page of the Houston Texans cheerleaders.

There are a couple of things worth noting here.
First, it's really saying something for this to be happening in a non-traditional WWE setting. WWE fans are very passionate, so it makes sense to see them do some crazy and cool things to support their favorite WWE Superstars. To see a WWE craze reflected by NFL cheerleaders is pretty unexpected but totally reeks of awesomeness.
Secondly, the video is pretty nice to watch.
Fandango's theme song isn't only crossing over into the world of the NFL. Earlier this week, his theme was played after the conclusion of the Kansas City Royals-Minnesota Twins MLB game.
In case you were not aware, the name of Fandago's theme song is "ChaChaLaLa." His song is currently all over the iTunes store top-10 soundtrack chart. Earlier this week, his theme song peaked at the No. 3 spot on the U.S. chart. Currently, "ChaChaLaLa" stands in the No. 6 position on the U.S. chart and in the No. 2 position on the UK chart.
"ChaChaLaLa" isn't only popular in the United States and the United Kingdom. The song also currently ranks No. 10 in Australia, No. 6 in Canada and No. 3 in Ireland. It might be safe to say that the world is dancing to Fandango.
I think that the next Raw is going to be very telling for Fandango. At that point it would have been a week since the initial explosion of fandom. This week's Raw will be a great gauge for whether or not fans will still be invested in him and actually care. It will also be a good barometer for seeing what direction WWE is headed in regard to a push.
Even if this is only destined to last for a week or two, I hope that WWE and Fandango enjoy every second of it. It's not very often that fans get to witness or be a part of something like this.
