Paulina Gretzky, Lindsey Vonn and Caroline Wozniacki Abound at 2013 Masters
The 2013 Masters is a star-studded affair with a veritable who's who from the sports world. Oh, and there are some golfers featured as well.
The latest edition of golf's greatest major features some very famous ladies walking the hallowed grounds in support of their respective golf boyfriends.
Lindsey Vonn is taking it easy after an injury to rest in the beauty that is Augusta; Caroline Wozniacki, always eager to entertain, took up the bag as Rory McIlroy's caddie during Wednesday's par-three contest and Paulina Gretzky has been spotted as she cheers on Dustin Johnson.
In a rare turn, fans will be looking to the gallery as much as the action on the course.
If public displays of affection are your thing, you were no doubt keyed into sports' young power couple: tennis' Wozniacki and golf's McIlroy.
Some of golf's biggest stars played in the always-entertaining par-three contest. Incidentally, this is a contest every last player likes to compete in but none try to win. Doing so would welcome the obvious jinx as no player who has won the par-three has gone on to win a green jacket.
Fortunately for McIlroy, he staved off the disaster of victory as rookie Ted Potter Jr. ended up winning the whimsical competition.
As for Wozniacki, she looked happy to be close to her boyfriend and lend a hand carrying the clubs around the nine-hole course.
She even graced us with a moment of futility.
She may be a wonder with the racket, but she is a wonderful mess with the clubs.
Wednesday at the Masters may have been dominated by Wozniacki, but Paulina Gretzky—daughter of hockey legend Wayne Gretzky and Dustin Johnson's girlfriend—managed to turn some heads as well.
The budding model decided to go a tad more conservative as she walked the greens Wednesday, but many are eager to see if she decides to go with something more like what she wore at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions.
We have to say, judging by her appearance at a past Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic tournament, her golf game is better than the previously mentioned, world-class tennis star.
Every last golf fan will be glued to the TV as Tiger Woods attempts to win another green jacket; star skier, Vonn, will be among them.
The 28-year-old is coming back from an awful injury sustained back in February. For the moment, she is content to sit back and take in all The Masters has to offer, which seems to be an opportunity to wear floppy hats.
If Woods is in the hunt on day four, expect a great many cutaways to a supportive Vonn. The way he played on Thursday, I wouldn't be surprised.
