WWE’s WrestleMania 29 was the highlight of 2013 thus far, and with more than a few stunning moments on the marquee pay-per-view, the buzz surrounding the event has the wrestling world talking.

From John Cena’s stunning embrace with The Rock to CM Punk mocking The Undertaker, WrestleMania was full of iconic moments that will become what this show is remembered for in the future.

All of the following events shaped the way we view WrestleMania 29 now and how the WWE Universe will judge the show moving forward.

John Cena Shakes The Rock’s Hand

After a bitter verbal war that turned physical on the road to WrestleMania, there were some doubts that John Cena would shake The Rock's hand if he were to win the WWE Championship. Those doubters were answered emphatically.

After pinning the defending champion and winning the title for the 11th time, Cena not only shook The Rock's hand, but the duo also embraced for a hug in the middle of the ring and raised each other's hands on the stage.

This was a great gesture from both men and as close to a physical passing of the torch as the WWE Universe will ever see.

There were some fans that speculated Cena could have been teasing a heel turn, but the title victory over The Rock and the post-match embraces prove Cena is a good guy through-and-through.

It’s the CeNation’s time to shine now.

CM Punk Goes Old School

CM Punk proved throughout his WWE title reign and in this feud with The Undertaker that he can be just as cynical and devious as the best heels in the history of the business, and during the duo’s match at WrestleMania 29, Punk proved it once again.

While both men put on an excellent battle that stole the show as the best match of the night, it was the fact that Punk kept hijacking The Undertaker’s signature moves and trying to use them that had the WWE Universe on the edge of its collective seat.

Punk had the crowd eating of his hand during this match, just as The Undertaker does each and every time he steps into the ring.

From mocking his famous in-ring poses to the usage of The Undertaker's “old school” move, Punk played to the WWE Universe and was the ultimate heel.

The Undertaker deserves plenty of credit for a great match, but Punk is a true showman and proved it once again.

Ryback Shellshocks Mark Henry

While Mark Henry got the victory at WrestleMania, the WWE did not let the show end without allowing Ryback to get the upper hand in the battle.

After taking a pin, the only way to avenge the loss was hitting the shellshock finisher on Henry.

In one of the coolest moments in WrestleMania history, Ryback hoisted Henry over his shoulders and hit his signature move on the World’s Strongest Man.

This successful move also made up for the previous botch with Tensai that haunted the powerhouse leading into this match and caused serious doubts about his ability to pull of the move.

With another chapter between Henry and Ryback inevitable, the excitement over seeing Ryback hit the shellshock finisher on Henry during a match will be a great moment for the blossoming star.
