WWE WrestleMania 29: Superstars with the Most to Lose at WrestleMania

1 of 5

WrestleMania is the biggest event for the WWE. It is a chance for WWE superstars to make a name for themselves and deliver memorable moments.

WrestleMania 29 is set and there are some superstars who are in matches that mean everything to them. They are in a position that a loss would put them in a very tough position after WrestleMania.

Here are the WWE superstars that have the most to lose at WrestleMania this Sunday.

The Undertaker

While a loss would do nothing to the legacy of the Undertaker, it would mean the end of his WrestleMania streak.

Undertaker is one of the greatest WWE superstars of all time. If or when the streak ends, it will not change the fact that he is still one of the all-time greats.

The Phenom currently sits at 20-0 at WrestleMania. His first WrestleMania win came against Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka in 1991 at WrestleMania VII.

Taker's WrestleMania streak is an unrivaled record in the WWE and a loss would make it rest in peace.

Triple H

In the last couple of years, WrestleMania has been no stranger to matches that ended the career of legends.

At WrestleMania 24, Shawn Michaels beat Ric Flair in a career-threatening match. A couple of years later at WrestleMania 26, Undertaker ended the career of Shawn Michaels.

Now Triple H will take on Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred match, with the additional stipulation of Triple H's career being on the line.

Triple H has had a legendary career that you could put up against any superstar ever. He has taken a bigger role behind the scenes as of late, and his days in the ring are winding down.

A loss would mean Triple H's in-ring career is over.

John Cena

John Cena has had arguably the worst year since becoming a top superstar in the WWE.

He lost to the Rock at WrestleMania 28, after a year-long feud and saying he couldn't lose. The night after, he was hit with an F-5 by a returning Brock Lesnar.

Cena is a 10-time WWE Champion. However, he did not hold the belt once in between WrestleMania 28 and 29.

However, he did compete several times in matches to win the WWE Championship, but came up short in each.

A loss would make him 0-2 against the Rock and suggest that maybe he can't compete with a legend like the Rock. It also would mean another failure to cap off an unsuccessful year for Cena.

Ryback

5 of 5

Ryback has had a strong year and has gotten a nice push since debuting (as Ryback) a year ago.

He started off destroying jobbers week after week, but eventually started climbing the ladder to the top of the company. Ryback eventually found himself competing in several matches against CM Punk for the WWE Championship.

Despite getting the opportunity to challenge for the WWE Championship, Ryback would consistently lose because of some outside interference from Brad Maddox and the Shield.

This then led to an ongoing feud with the Shield and a six-man tag team match at the Elimination Chamber event. Ryback teamed with John Cena and Sheamus to take on the Shield, but was pinned by Seth Rollins.

Ryback will take on Mark Henry at WrestleMania 29. A clean loss in this match will hurt Ryback's status as a top face and a dominant superstar. Whereas a win could immediately put him back in contention for the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship.

So in other words, Ryback could lose a chance at being back in a top WWE title match for a significant amount of time.
