The Newest 2008-2009 NFL MVP: Drew Brees (My New Series)
Hello, and welcome to my new series called "The Newest 2008-2009 MVP".
In each article I will feature one player, today's player is Drew Brees.
Last year, in the New Orleans Saints' last game of the season against Carolina, the last play was a pass.
It was close.
Drew Brees was 16 yards away from breaking a record that has been held by Dan Marino for so long. The record was for the most passing yards in a season, and it was by Marino with 5,084 passing yards!
Too bad it was incomplete.
Drew Brees had 5,069 yards and 34 touchdowns, along with a 96.2 passer rating. Drew Brees and the Saints finished with a 7-9 record.
Bad? Yes.
Drew Bress' fault? HELL NO!
First of all, like I said in my last article, defense might as well win games.
Second of all, Drew Brees, like I said, had a good year.
But lets get back to the point of this article.
Drew should have been on the MVP list, and should have had a chance to win it.
Thanks for reading my first ever article of my new series.
More to come soon!
