WWE News: Jimmy Uso Arrested; Slapped with Second DUI

Crazy news from Hillsborough County, FL, as it appears Jimmy Uso has been arrested and hit with DUI charges.

According to ProWrestling.net:

WWE wrestler Jimmy Uso (a/k/a Jonathan Solofa Fatu) was arrested on Wednesday morning in Hillsborough County, Florida and charged with driving under the influence. He was released on a $500 cash bond a few hours later. You can view his arrest report at HCSO.tampa.fl.u

Ultimately, this is the second time in as many years that Uso has been picked up on these charges. So, it's highly likely that the WWE may step in and help Uso get straightened out. Overall, the timing of this bust is terrible, considering we are just on the heels of Jack Swagger's DUI.

Even though Swagger seemingly walked away unscathed, that might not be the case for Uso. As the WWE could decide to make an example of him in order to prevent others from getting into the same problems.

Keep in mind, the WWE only tends to take action after a wrestler fails the company's mandated drug tests. So there is a chance that Uso may also be safe.

However, there are a hand full of wrestlers that can link their WWE punishments to an out of ring incident. Amongst those are Hurricane Helms and RVD, Helms was given his walking papers about one month after his arrest, while RVD lost the WWE title just days after his DUI.

Granted RVD got off a bit lighter, but I think it's safe to say that both punishments were linked to their outside issues.

In the end, if Uso is punished it probably won’t be until after WrestleMania, as the WWE has its sights focused on this event and can't afford to have any further distractions.
