Tim Roberson is leading the team in almost every statistical category on offense. He leads the team in batting average, at bats, runs, hits, home runs, runs batted in, total bases, slugging percentage, and on-base-percentage.

The team also has six guys that have a batting average better than .300, and the overall team batting average sits at .307.

Florida Gulf Coast has also been solid defensively this season, as the team has an overall fielding percentage of .957. Brad Roberts and Robert Greene have been especially impressive defensive players for the Eagles, with both players being credited with 240 put-outs, a fielding percentage of .990 or better, and three errors or less.

Chris Sale, Craig Crumbly, and Richie Erath have been the most impressive pitchers up to this point in the season. All three have pitched 41 or more innings, have a 5.37 ERA or better, and have winning records.

Derek Shaw, meanwhile, leads the team with three saves, and Richie Erath has the only complete game of the season for the Eagles. The average team ERA is 5.56.

The Eagles are on a three game win streak, and FGCU will soon host the Florida Gators at Swanson Stadium. The game against the Gators is one of the more highly anticipated games of the season for the Eagles, and is set to play out on April 21 in Fort Myers.

FGCU hopes to improve their record and finish the season strong.
