Injuries are a regular factor in every team, every season. However, Arsenal are seemingly plagued with injuries all season long to key personal. Eduardo, Adebayor, Rosicky, Cesc, Walcott...the list goes on and on.

Every time we get a player back fit either he himself gets re-injured or another player gets stretchered off. Its maddening isn't it? I believe we've only had a handful of games this season where every player that walked on the pitch walked off under their own free will. That said this is exactly why Wenger buys players that can play in multiple positions.

Case in point...Bacary Sagna. Arsene bought this very strong, fast, and adapativie RB for pennies but this is normal for le boss. He somehow manages to find these spectacular players, pluck them from obscurity and have them adapt to Wengerball beautifully.

When I first saw Sagna play for us it seemed like he'd been playing in the system for years. Showing his intelligence and ability to adapt.

Like most or all of Wenger's buys, one of the reasons he bought Bacary is because he is versatile. His primary role is right back, however he can also play center back. So I was thinking...instead of having the risky, (to say the least) ill-favored Silvestre at CB partnering Toure, why not have solid, strong, dependable Sagna as Kolo's partner?

Sagna knows the system and has chemistry with the backline. Also, he's strong, fast, experienced, and is good in the air. He has the positional sense not to get caught up and he will provide the stability in front of a young keeper that is needed at this time.

Especially at a time like this. And for those who say who would fill the hole at RB, well that's obviously our marauding mercenary Eboue. Sagna will allow Eboue to rove forward while being their for cover. Moreover, Eboue's presence will provide a more attacking edge to aid Walcott.

I JUST DON'T TRUST SILVESTRE! Manchester United let him go for a reason. Now I'm not saying that he isn't experienced and that we don't need him-once again especially at a time like this, but not in front of our young keeper.

He's unsteady and unproven with our back line. (I hope I eat my words, you can bet on that.) Maybe he's more suited as a LB to provide the experience and control that young Gibbs cannot provide. Who knows.

Well anyway thats my thought...heres what I think our formation should (but won't) look like:

                          -------------------Fabianksi--------------------

                          Eboue-----Sagna-------Toure------Silvestre/Gibbs

                          ------------Denilson-------Song---------------

                          Walcott------------Cesc---------------Nasri

                          -------------------Adebayor------------------

          4-4-2                                            -OR-

                          -------------------Fabianksi--------------------

                          Eboue-------Sagna--------Toure-------Silvestre/Gibbs

                          ----------------Song-----------------------------

                          Walcott--------------- Cesc-----------------Nasri

                           ------------------RVP---------------------------

                           -------------------------Adebayor--------------

In any case, believe boys...all we have to do is believe. Gooner4lyf.
